Even though it’s labeled as Eau de Toilette, this is pure cologne, in the style of Hermès but without the ridiculous price tag. Roger & Gallet remains a benchmark for accessible quality. It smells like Cartier Declaration: cedar with dry, spicy vetiver. I’m not crazy about that vetiver note (neither is Cartier), but the quality is more than enough. It’s not a beast; it’s for relaxing at home or going out with class, giving off a gentlemanly vibe.
