I love this for men. I gifted it for its fresh, mature vibe; the recipient was thrilled and asked to buy it again. Unfortunately, it’s no longer available in Chile. What a shame—I found it unique, and there’s nothing like it out there.

  • wildkatzen

If you’re in Chile, look for Lacoste Challenge, Booster, or Essential. It’s a bit more complicated, but good contacts always help. Anything else, let me know. Cheers.

If it’s available in Chile, it’s still Lacoste Challenge, Booster, Essential, etc. Of course, it’s a bit more complicated, but good contacts always help. Anything for an insider tip. Cheers.

  • Lacoste Booster is beautiful, a bridge between old school and the casual 90s trend. It evokes the fougères of the 70s and 80s. It opens with a natural, galvanic citrus accord, vetiver, and spicy mint that adds edge, with a touch of sweet lavender. Nutmeg adds roundness. It resembles Rive Gauche at first, but then it goes its own way. It’s youthful yet mature, perfect for cool or hot days. Highly recommended; if you want more longevity, apply more or carry a decant. Still in production. Try it if you’re nostalgic; it doesn’t feel old, it’s a hit among similar scents.

  • At first, it smells unusual, nothing like anything on the market. Strong at the start, but it softens and accentuates its heart. It doesn’t go unnoticed: it’s fresh, summery, and versatile if you know how to dress. It gives a unique personality, ideal for university. Juan Mata.

  • Lacoste Booster is fresh and herbal. Upon application, you get green and balsamic notes like mint and eucalyptus. It reminds me a bit of Calvin Klein’s Truth for Men, though it’s not the same, yet shares similarities. Over time, the woody notes emerge. Although it’s an aromatic citrus, the citrus supports the herbal character. Perfect for daytime, summer, and spring. Suitable for any age. Projection is medium-low and lasts about 6 hours (depends on skin pH).

It reminds me a bit of Calvin Klein’s Truth for Men—not identical, but with clear similarities. Over time, the woody notes emerge. • What a great surprise: this has become my favorite among over 100 perfumes. My wife, who usually doesn’t care about scents, was absolutely fascinated by the trail. It smells like rich, fresh mint with a basil note that adds a nice spark. As you move, it leaves a halo in the air that smells so expensive, even though it isn’t. Highly recommended.

  • What a pity, because it has potential. Those citrus and eucalyptus notes could have been something great, but the fragrance is of such low quality and so ethereal that it ends up being just a mere attempt. Pleasant at times, with a very good idea, but it lacks quality, body, and development. It could work as a perfumed water for summer. Another fail from Coty, as usual. P.S.: Review based on a full 125ml bottle from 2019.

  • A very versatile fragrance, not groundbreaking, but the price and that spicy mint you can’t find elsewhere are unbeatable. The opening is good, fresh, and herbal. An adult can wear it to the office without issues, and it’s also a great option for a college student in class. If you don’t know what to wear to hit the streets, this won’t let you down; its trail is excellent. Don’t be afraid to apply more.

  • It’s a super versatile fragrance; even though it’s not new, you won’t find that price point and that spicy mint anywhere else. The opening smells great—fresh and herbal. An adult can wear it to the office without any issues, and a college student will look excellent in class too. If you’re not sure what to wear to the grocery store, this won’t let you down since the trail is solid. Don’t be afraid to use it.

Does it resemble Paula Ibiza and Grey Flannel? Seriously? I don’t know if they’ve actually heard this Booster or if they made it up. Just saying it smells like Lacoste Original seems strange, but for it to resemble those two is insane.

If I have a signature fragrance, it’s this one. I’ve loved it for 10 years, regardless of trends. Its scent is unique and unmistakable; it makes you stand out. It’s ultra-herbal and super fresh, like suddenly stepping into a eucalyptus forest and feeling a crisp mountain breeze mixing with the leaves. Balanced with a soft woody base and a citrus finish. Ultra-versatile for any season. It’s been a lifesaver in both winter and summer, day and night. Lasts about 6 hours with an impressive trail, mimicking an EDP. Best performance for price and quality. A crown jewel, unforgettable, and exquisite. Every nose should try it.

If I have a signature scent, it’s this one. Since I discovered it ten years ago, I’ve loved it madly, and it remains my favorite despite fashion changes. Its aroma is unique and unmistakable; so don’t hesitate, it will make you stand out wherever you go. It’s ultra-herbal and super fresh, like suddenly stepping into an eucalyptus forest and receiving a fresh mountain breeze mixing the leaves. Exquisite and balanced with a soft woody base and a citrus finish that makes it versatile all year round. It has served me well, with compliments in winter and summer, day and night. It lasts about 6 hours, and its trail mimics an EDP. The best performance in terms of price-to-quality ratio. In short: a gem, the crown jewel. Unforgettable, exotic, exquisite, and worth having. Every nose should try it before leaving.

The best thing Lacoste has ever produced in its miserable life: the 2000s version (P&G) or the 90s version (Sofipar). Nothing compares to the current launches, which smell like a shopping mall. My only complaint is that it’s weak on longevity. I love the sweet eucalyptus note and the creamy mint. I thought it was an exaggeration when they said it was unique, and I couldn’t agree more. Joyful and fresh, Lacoste’s hidden gem, although Land is still missing!

  • There was a deleted comment saying you have to smell this at least once before you die. I’ll say it again: there’s nothing like it today. It has an unmatched identity, an iconic and unique aroma. I’m not saying it’s the best in the world, but if you’re tired of the same old things and want something out of the ordinary, it’s your gem. I won’t talk about notes; there are better comments for that. I just invite you to experience a unique olfactory journey. I miss this fragrance so much; it’s no longer available in my country, I believe it’s discontinued, and now it comes in a different format.

Lacoste Booster is one of the brand’s best, without repeating that success. Lacoste suffers like fashion houses: licenses change hands, and the perfume gets forgotten years later. This Booster was born under P&G and was incredible; then it moved to Coty, and now it’s with Interperfums, which ruins brands. It’s herbal and citrusy—fresh but powerful. It had a strong opening followed by a soft mentholated dry-down for hours. I’d love to get it back; it’s discontinued but a safe buy. Rating: 9/10.

  • Lacoste Booster is a classic herbal woody scent, like a modernized 4711, but Boss is much weaker and fleeting. Comparing it to Lacoste Original is insulting; they don’t resemble each other at all, and the latter smells great. For the price, I wouldn’t buy it again.

Lacoste Booster: one of the brand’s best, without repeating that success. Lacoste suffers the same fate as big houses: they change licenses so often that after ten years, it’s not the same anymore. P&G made this one and it was incredible, then Coty, and now Interperfums, which ruins everything they touch. It’s herbal and citrusy, fresh but powerful. It projected strongly and then left a soft mentholated trail hours later. I’d love to have it back; it’s discontinued but it’s a safe buy. 9/10.

  • Hello. I just signed up to talk about this Lacoste Booster. I was given it as a gift and used it moderately, but around midnight I felt like I was suffocating; it made me sick, so I went to the bathroom to wash my neck with soap and water. What relief. Has anyone else experienced this with this or another fragrance? What a terrible night. It was summer 2000. Best regards.
