Ko by De La Patagonia: A Warm Spicy Floral for Women and Men

Ko is a fragrance by De La Patagonia, introduced in 2024. It is designed for both women and men, offering a versatile unisex experience.

The scent opens with cardamom, moves through yellow florals, and lands on a sweet tonka bean base. The overall feel is warm, aromatic, and gently floral.

The opening is unmistakably spicy: cardamom brings a bright, aromatic jolt that sets Ko apart from lighter florals. It feels fresh and invigorating right away.

In the heart, mimosa, tulip, and lupine form a yellow floral bouquet. These notes give the fragrance a soft, radiant center that balances the spice without becoming overpowering.

The base is built on tonka bean, which adds creaminess, sweetness, and a subtle vanillic warmth. The main accords are warm spicy, aromatic, floral, yellow floral, vanillic, and sweet, creating a rounded and comforting scent.

Ko currently has a rating of 4.38 out of 5, based on 8 ratings and 3 reviews. It is a recent release, but the early reception suggests it appeals to those who want a warm yet easygoing fragrance.

This perfume will appeal to anyone who likes unisex fragrances with a soft spicy character and a floral, sweet finish. It works well for daily wear and feels comfortable in a range of settings.

Ko is a well-crafted fragrance that balances energy and softness. The cardamom keeps it lively, the flowers keep it tender, and the tonka bean wraps everything in a warm, sweet glow. A solid release from De La Patagonia.

  1. Contrary to the reviews here, I only smell cardamom and tonka bean—that is, a soft, pleasant spice and a little vanilla. It doesn’t stand out at all, has little projection, and is very soft; to my taste, it’s one more of the bunch, leaning feminine unisex. Asher is a thousand times better.

It’s very floral but unisex; it’s fresh but to me wintry and for daytime. It lasts a lot and makes itself noticed. De la Patagonia’s scents are out of the ordinary, and you really feel like being next to a river with lots of floral vegetation. For daily use or quiet dates (snack, lunch), it’s the ideal choice.

  3. Like its sibling Kosten, it’s a very long-lasting fragrance. It feels aquatic, creamy, floral; flowers predominate, and at the start you get a very rich cardamom. Thoroughly recommendable.
