It’s a discontinued classic that costs a fortune; I waited five years to find it here in Mexico. It comes in 30ml and 100ml, with the latter being the hardest treasure to track down. The scent is distinct and powerful, perfect for lovers of strong fragrances, though honestly, it could easily be unisex. It has no resemblance to anything else, but it’s more intense than its predecessors. The smell is intoxicating, like an alcoholic beverage, which isn’t listed in the notes but is definitely noticeable. It features fruits, musk, woods, and white flowers, but that liquor note dominates. I love the entire Animale line for its brutal longevity; even after a shower, it lingers until people ask about it. Ideal for nights out or special events.

It deceives the senses: the box and liquid look like a fresh floral summer water, but it’s a dense, wintery Chypre with woods and spices. Sometimes it reminds me of Grès Cabochard or Rochas Femme. The opening is floral-fruity, not citrusy, but sweet and mature with an amber-licor touch that’s powerful, almost alcoholic. Then comes an undisclosed pepper and spicy wood that make it warm, dry, and slightly bitter. It closes with a powdery white musk. It has the structure of a classic, an incredible evolution, and brutal longevity and sillage.

Only for the brave. A penetrating scent, very similar to the classic Animale but with much more potent chypre. Without checking the notes, I smell honey and moss. I doubt many women could wear this day in and day out.
