I’d love to try it. Since I saw it on FragranceX, I’ve been crossing my fingers for it to arrive in Mexico soon, though I haven’t read the reviews yet; the sample vial is incredibly tempting.

This is the perfume I’d wear on a scorching hot day over 30 degrees. It’s not light; quite the opposite, it feels substantial and lasts a long time. I don’t like typical citrus scents. It has exquisite fruit notes, aquatic touches, musk, peony, and jasmine. The turquoise color looks great, giving the sensation of being in a pool. To my nose, it’s very original, nothing like its little siblings from the same line.

  • What a delightful surprise! It brings back memories of Ciel EDP by Cannon: the opening is almost identical, then it shifts a bit but remains very similar—a less aquatic, improved version. It’s refreshing and citrusy; I notice the patchouli that recalls Frescor, but soon the green jasmine, peonies, and fruity notes like watermelon take the lead. The dry-down is clean and comfortable, with a sweet musk. It’s cheerful, youthful, and perfect for warm days, though it lasts about 6 hours with one hour of projection. It’s a different EDP within its collection, ideal if you’re looking for something floral and fresh. It doesn’t smell like Biografia Caminhos (which has lots of patchouli), but it does vibrate like Lancôme’s Idôle Parfum, just more intense and aquatic; if you like Idole, this is a great option.

  • What a joy! It brought back memories of my teenage years with Cannon’s Ciel EDP. The opening is almost identical, then it evolves a bit; it’s a less aquatic version than the original, but improved. It starts fresh and citrusy, with the patchouli reminiscent of Frescor. Immediately, the jasmine and peonies with a fruity touch like watermelon (maybe calone) take over. It’s a lot of green, aquatic jasmine, with barely any bergamot showing through. The dry-down is clean and comfortable, pure sweet and fruity musk. It’s cheerful, youthful, ideal for hot days and any occasion. It doesn’t last as long as other Ilía scents, about 6 hours on skin with a moderate trail and one-hour projection. It’s a very different EDP from its collection, perfect if you like clean, fresh florals. It doesn’t smell like Biografia Caminhos (that one has lots of patchouli and prurioca), but it does vibrate like Lancôme’s Idôle Parfum; it’s more intense and aquatic, but it could confuse more than one person. If you like Idôle, this is an option.

Based on the reviews, I expected something else, but it reminds me TOO much of classic Ciel (the blue one), a fragrance I like but got tired of smelling everywhere. It’s similar even in the bottle color! I don’t understand why that resemblance doesn’t have more votes. Anyway, it smells good, with a very prominent jasmine. It doesn’t drive me crazy, it’s not my style, and I wouldn’t buy it again, but for jasmine fanatics, it’s an excellent choice.

  • A beautiful and distinct fragrance from the entire Ilía line; I love it. When it dries down, it smells like Idole—in fact, someone asked if I was wearing Idole. It works for any time of day or season. On my skin, it lasts over 6 hours, and on clothes, even longer.

  • At first, it smells like classic Idole, but then you notice the differences. I love the Idole style for its youthful freshness and versatility; my mom and I share it, and we both adore Ilía Completa. It’s about 85% similar, but with a more pronounced jasmine and an aquatic note that gives a summer freshness, perfect for the turquoise bottle. I bought it in winter, and it loses strength in the cold, so I’ll save it for when the temperature rises. It’s totally worth $37 (it dropped to $26 or less on sale; I got mine for $17 with coupons). If you love flowers, buy blind on sale; if you get overwhelmed by them, test it first.

So, what’s the verdict? 🤔 Does it resemble Ciel Celeste or Idole? I’m confused; they seem very different. How can it be similar to both?

  • The moment I tried it, it immediately reminded me of the classic Idole, but then you start noticing the differences. I love the Idole style for its versatility and youthful freshness that bonded my mom and me; Ilía Completa captures about 85% of that vibe with a more pronounced jasmine and a watery touch that evokes summer, justifying its turquoise bottle. I bought it in winter and it gets lost in the cold, so I’ll save it to let it mature with the heat. It’s totally worth the $37 (I’ve paid as little as $17 on sale); it’s super pleasant if you like florals, but if you’re sensitive to scents, test it first.

One of my favorites of the year. It arrived right when the weather was cold, and it works great. I regret not ordering another bottle.

One of my favorites of the year, it arrived just when it was cold and works amazingly well. I can’t believe I haven’t ordered another bottle yet.

  • It arrived and met my expectations except for the dry down. At 10 minutes on skin, it’s citrusy—you can smell bergamot and tangerine—but by 5 minutes it’s pure patchouli and amber, which I hate. On blotter it smells incredible, fresh, and jasmine-like, but on me the patchouli steals the show and there’s no freshness. I guess my skin tends to bring out the bitterest notes in perfumes. If this happens to you, the patchouli will steal the party. The trail is moderate; it doesn’t envelop me.

I just applied it and it blew my expectations away, for the better! I feared it wouldn’t match Ilia’s DNA. I expected a Patagonian freshness, but it threw me ‘Treasure Island’: a scent of floral exuberance, fruits, herbs, and water. It smells clean all the time; at first, it reminds me of the legendary Hum No Ar, fresher and less soapy, and also Armani’s Acqua di Gio female. It captures all the botanical essences of a seductive beach. It was a bomb, a wave that surfers love, full of memories of a time with bold and intense fragrances. It matches Ilia’s DNA; I smell bergamot, pear (undeclared), maybe watermelon, peony, peppermint, jasmine, herbs, aquatic accords—cheerful, fresh, and with the ideal sweetness for summer. Still need to test the dry-down. I feel it’s very complete; maybe that was Kato’s goal. Recommend trying before using.

  • It arrived in Mexico, and I picked it up with my Natura discount for about $23, a reasonable price. At first, it smells like Idole, but within seconds, it transforms into a fresh, subtle scent that lasts around 3 hours with a short trail. For me, nothing justifies the regular $47 price tag; that’s why I’ve switched to designer fragrances with a bit more originality.

  • It’s the same as Ciel but with much better longevity and sillage. I wouldn’t repurchase.

  • Just arrived. I had a lot of faith in the scent, except for the base notes. I’ve had it on for 10 minutes: the opening is quite citrusy, you can smell the bergamot and mandarin. After 5 minutes, it goes straight to the base notes, and the patchouli is at maximum with a bit of amber (both notes I don’t like). I can barely smell the mandarin, orange blossom, and peony, but the rest is pure patchouli with no fresh sensation. Just to clarify, this is on my skin, which always brings out the bitter notes. On paper, it’s wonderful; there I feel the freshness, the Patagonian vibe, the jasmine—delicious. I hope it stays like that. If you experience the same and find perfumes too intense on the skin, maybe the patchouli steals the spotlight. I also have a sensitive nose and reject bitter or spicy scents; perhaps someone who doesn’t smell it right off the skin would only detect the orange blossom and peony. The sillage is moderate; I don’t feel enveloped.

  • I bought it because of its similarity to Idole according to reviews, but on my skin it felt very aquatic and then woody; I didn’t feel comfortable. The note I like most from Idole, the roses, is present from start to finish in that one. It’s a good perfume with great longevity and an incredible price, but it just wasn’t for me.

  • Not a huge fan. On my skin, the powdery accord dominates too much; it’s not bad in itself, but it ends up smelling like deodorant, which isn’t what I’m looking for in a perfume. On someone else, the floral notes stood out more, but it just doesn’t work on me.

  • I liked it, even though I’m not a fan of fresh or citrus scents. Turns out it’s a bit sweet, but not gourmand or anything like that.

  • I own it and was excited about its similarity to Idole, but on my skin it smells very aquatic and then woody, nothing comfortable. What I liked most about Idole, the roses, aren’t noticeable here. It’s a good perfume with great longevity and an incredible price, but it just wasn’t for me.

  • Total surprise regarding the longevity for an aquatic and citrusy perfume. It’s very citrusy and soapy but without any powderiness. The patchouli is soft, keeping it feminine; natural citrus notes are usually unisex, but this Ilía is floral. You can clearly smell the orange blossom and peony, very watery, along with the rose and other blended flowers, with cedar in the base. The only downside is the price: here it costs $40-45 USD for 50 ml. It’s pleasant, but if you can’t get it cheaper, it’s not worth it. In my case, my Natura consultant negotiates prices for me, so I get it more affordably.

  • Surprised by the longevity for an aquatic citrus scent. It’s citrusy and soapy, not powdery at all. The patchouli is soft, keeping a feminine vibe; citrus is usually unisex, but this Ilia is floral. You can detect orange blossom, very aquatic peony, rose, and mixed flowers, with cedar in the base. The only downside is the price: here it costs $40-45 USD for 50 ml. If you can’t get it cheaper, it’s not worth it, although my Natura consultant gives me discounts.

  • I didn’t like it. I bought it for the notes expecting something fresh and sparkling, but the lemon doesn’t stand out. On skin, the flowers dominate until it becomes powdery. My daughter said it smells like an old lady, too matronly for me. I ended up gifting it to my husband’s grandmother, and she adores it; it’s delicate and feminine just like her.

  • Not for me. I bought it for the notes and was expecting something fresh and sparkling, but the lemon doesn’t stand out. On my skin, the florals dominate and then it becomes powdery—very distinguished (my daughter said it smells like an old lady). I gave it to my husband’s grandmother and she absolutely loved it; it’s delicate and feminine, just like her.

  • So pretty! Smells like a super delicate rose soap with touches of mandarin and bergamot, perfect for spring and summer. It’s a more accessible and long-lasting version of Lancôme’s Idole—very similar but with fewer fruity notes. I wouldn’t buy it since there are plenty of similar fragrances, though I do have to admit it looks stunning.
