Without even mentioning Eastern Praderas or any nonsense… it’s a total disaster.

It’s almost identical to Rasasi’s Shuhrah Pour Homme; I own both, but if I had to choose, I’d stick with Shuhrah. Maybe it’s not worth owning both given how similar they are, though knowing that, I still bought it.

Very much in the Rasasi Shura line, pleasant and different. Very masculine.

Huberta is a super unique perfume compared to everything I’ve heard. It smells like flowers and wood, with a soapy touch and a powdery note. Sure, it’s not an easy scent, but at first, it feels interesting and addictive. That’s when it can seem a bit feminine, though overall it’s totally unisex. As it develops, it becomes woodier and the oud takes center stage; plus, it smells very much like petroleum. At that point, I don’t like it and it feels heavy. I wish it stayed in the initial phase. It has moderate-to-high sillage and lasts at least 9 hours on my skin. It took me a while to endure it to get this data, probably lasts longer, but I decided to take it off. Scent: 2/10, Longevity: 9.5/10, Sillage: 8.5/10, Value: 9/10, Versatility: 3/10, Packaging: 5/10. Would I buy again? No, luckily a friend sent me a decant and saved me from a blind purchase failure.

Here I bring you another Kelsey Berwin perfume, none other than my favorite from this house so far. I won’t lie, I’ve been trying to write this review for over a month, but the perfume is so complex, deep, and full of innumerable nuances that every time I wore it, I felt overwhelmed and ruined the writing. But as always, there’s a time for everything; one day I put it on and to my surprise, I finally understood it, it flowed with me, and I felt comfortable writing while being wrapped in its warm and special aroma. People say it smells like flowers, oud, that the rose is very noticeable, etc… It’s much more convoluted than that, but fine, if you just grab the notes with the most buttons, that’s the result. For me, the opening is overwhelming, extremely woody, very smoky, and leathery. It’s loaded with Guaiacol (the molecule from Guaiac wood); this is the only thing noticeable in the first few minutes. Over time, it opens up and floral nuances appear where the rose predominates, a friendlier and less rough woody sensation, but always under the yoke of Guaiacol. It’s a difficult perfume and not for everyone, plus it has Herculean times that make it a bomb of longevity, sillage, and projection. Totally unisex if you appreciate smoky and robust scents; in my case, it was an acquired taste, so don’t stress if you don’t like it at first, give it time. Regarding looking at the notes, don’t misunderstand me, I also look for notes, but you can’t base everything on that; you have to research, cross-reference, but even more importantly, try it, wear it, and thus come to understand it. Huberta is a wild horse that’s hard to tame. It’s a beautiful steed that uses a fierce neigh as a greeting. Its opening is shrill, rugged, intense, piercing, and metallic. The floral notes are very prominent; it’s like smelling a bunch of red, white, and pink flowers crushed in your fist to liquefy their essence. Freesia stands out, with that powdery touch, and muguet, which give it a character that’s between sweet and bitter, very characteristic and very pleasant for me. It evolves into a tone so powdery that at some point it could remind you of a bag of chamomile, absurd as it may seem. It doesn’t have excessive evolution, maintaining that piercing and metallic note throughout the fragrance’s life, with a touch of medicinal oud, adding woods for balance and sandalwood a quite elegant creamy tone. It’s a formal scent, perfect for the office in temperate-to-cold weather. It gives an elegant, robust, yet open and confidence-inspiring facet. Its longevity is excellent, sitting at 8 hours without effort, leaving a good sillage in the first 3 hours and generating a very present bubble around you. An affordable niche perfume with an exceptional quality-to-price ratio and definitely very recommended. It’s not superfluous in any collection because, even if not excessively versatile, we’ll find the moment to use it more frequently than it might seem as we get to know it better. Very rich, reminds me a lot of Rasasi’s Shuhrah, same aromatic DNA but in this case softer. Elegant, “luxurious,” and different, potent; it could be magnificent for winter. Given the cost, it’s well worth trying this juice that distances itself so much from the mainstream. For those over 25-30 and men with personality, not gregarious. Classy Alfismo.

Flowers and wood with a mineral touch and a habanero pepper finish. It’s different, elegant, and exclusive, and the best part is it costs only 16 euros. Are you still wearing generic scents like Invictus when there are gems at a quarter of the price? I give it an 8.

Oud (without going overboard), flowers, and wood. I like it. It has a dry scent reminiscent of Tom Ford Noir Anthracite. A good blind buy at a very reasonable price.
