Hotphoria Power by Plaisance: A Juicy, Floral-Fruity Unisex Delight

Hotphoria Power by Plaisance is a vibrant fragrance that blends the freshness of fruits with the elegance of flowers. Designed for both men and women, this unisex creation promises a versatile and alluring olfactory experience.

From the very first spray, the fragrance unfolds a juicy and sparkling opening, where the sweetness of blackcurrant, peach, and pear instantly captivates the senses, inviting you to explore its evolution.

The top notes are led by blackcurrant, which brings a tart and slightly wild edge, perfectly complemented by the velvety sweetness of peach and the watery freshness of pear. This initial trio creates an immediate and refreshing fruity impact.

At the heart, the scent transforms into a delicate and sophisticated floral bouquet. Peony lends a romantic, slightly powdery character, while magnolia introduces a unique floral creaminess, and freesia adds an airy, luminous touch that balances the opening's sweetness.

The base of Hotphoria Power rests on a woody and gourmand foundation. Vanilla provides comforting, sweet warmth, sandalwood offers a creamy, smooth texture, and cedar imparts a dry, elegant structure that anchors the fragrance with a lingering trail.

The accords of this composition are remarkably balanced: floral, fruity, fresh, woody, aromatic, soft spicy, green, vanilla, powdery, and sweet. This complexity makes it a perfect scent for everyday wear, as well as for special occasions where you want to leave a memorable impression.

With a perfect rating of 5.0 out of 5.0 based on 3 reviews, Hotphoria Power proves to be a highly satisfying offering in the Plaisance catalog, standing out for its ease of wear and universal appeal.

It is ideal for those who love juicy fruity aromas balanced by soft florals and a creamy, woody base. Perfect for men and women seeking a versatile, elegant fragrance with a gourmand touch that never feels cloying.

Hotphoria Power is an olfactory gem from Plaisance that successfully fuses the best of the fruity and floral worlds. Its harmonious evolution and comforting base make it a safe and pleasant choice for any occasion, solidifying its status as a must-have for unisex fragrance enthusiasts.

It’s great that the Chilean brand Plaisance has been added to Fragrantica, because this particular Hotphoria line is excellent. Of the three, my favorite is Power (the best from the Plaisance brand and, for me, the best low-cost drugstore perfume). It smells clean, like a fruity shampoo: an opening of red fruits, like tart berries with a hint of strawberry and a citrus note that reminds me of pink passion fruit, accompanied by flowers in the background. They are aquatic, fresh, and creamy flowers that form a very beautiful bouquet, where peony and orchid especially stand out. Everything is supported by a clean musk and a vanilla in just the right amount, which doesn’t overpower the other notes but provides the necessary sweet touch to balance the acidity of the fruits. I have many perfumes, too many even, and normally they last me for years because I don’t manage to empty the bottles quickly. But this one I used up in a couple of months during an intense summer, because it’s hugely enjoyable in extreme heat climates. It never bores or annoys; it feels energizing thanks to the tart fruits, but without falling into the typical citrus perfume that disappears after half an hour. The quality of the notes and the longevity are ridiculous considering the price (about 13 dollars). On clothes it lasts a lot, and on skin a bit less, although to be honest, I often still perceived it and would reapply just to enjoy and intensify the scent. It doesn’t feel artificial and doesn’t smell like the typical cheap supermarket perfume (because it is). It’s a fragrance that screams energy and youth, even worn by an older person, but without feeling adolescent or childish. It has a feminine and flirtatious side that, without relying on a typical sweetness, invites you to come closer and enjoy that beautiful set of tart and juicy fruits. It’s also one of the perfumes I get the most compliments on, from friends to strangers on the street. I hope the brand never discontinues it. And yes, I confirm it’s a dupe of Bombshell by V.S., and it has 90% similarity to Orchid by Zara, but Power lasts much longer than the Zara one.
