Hot Blossom by Plaisance: A Bright Floral-Fruity Fragrance for Women

Hot Blossom is a women's fragrance from Plaisance, situated in the floral-fruity olfactory family. The name hints at warm bloom; the scent itself balances juicy top notes with a clean, floral heart.

It opens with an inviting burst of fruit and citrus, then settles into a rose-and-jasmine center before ending on woody, appley base notes.

Top notes feature Damascus plum, grapefruit, and blackcurrant. This opening is bright, juicy, and slightly tart, with a green edge from the blackcurrant.

The heart is built around rose, lily of the valley, and jasmine. These three flowers give the fragrance a polished, feminine character: rose provides structure, jasmine adds depth, and lily of the valley contributes a fresh, white-floral brightness.

At the base, red apple and woody notes create an unexpected but smooth finish. The apple keeps the fruity story alive while the woods anchor the sillage and give the composition a subtle warmth.

The dominant accords are fruity, white floral, fresh, woody, sweet, green, citrus, and aromatic. Plaisance has created an accessible, easy-wearing scent that doesn't try too hard to impress.

With an average rating of 3.33 out of 5 from a small number of votes, Hot Blossom is a pleasant, no-frills option for fans of fruity florals.

Hot Blossom will appeal to women who enjoin fresh, sweet florals with a fruity twist. It works well for daytime wear in spring and summer, and suits anyone looking for a feminine but understated perfume.

In the end, Hot Blossom by Plaisance is a well-balanced, approachable fragrance. It may not be groundbreaking, but it delivers a satisfying mix of fruit, flowers, and woods that's easy to love and easy to wear.

  1. You can really smell the grapefruit, personally I don’t like it because it doesn’t suit me, but it’s not an unpleasant fragrance, you can really notice the grapefruit and also a floral note, it lasts about 5-6 hours.

Floral-fruity with a clear clean feeling like shampoo, although in this version I feel that the fruits predominate over the flowers. Its resemblance to Be Delicious Fresh Blossom by DKNY is undeniable, I’d say it’s around 70-80%. The main difference I notice is that the DKNY one has a stronger personal care product feeling, as if the musk and flowers were a bit more present, especially the jasmine, which reinforces that characteristic clean scent (I remember it well because I just finished a bottle a few months ago that I had for years). In contrast, in this version of Plaisance, the fruity notes stand out more. I perceive a slightly bitter grapefruit, closer to the peel than the juice, along with a very evident apricot, the sensation of biting into a juicy green apple, and a fresh, youthful rose, far from that image of intense rose perfumes that many people associate with perfumes for older people. On my skin, the woody base note stands out a lot and accompanies the whole well without becoming the protagonist. This type of fruity-floral fragrance is a wildcard for me. They are cheerful, feminine, pleasant, and hard to find detractors. They give a clean feeling without being overly citrusy or reminding of laundry detergent, so they work very well for everyday wear. I would mainly wear them during the day and in temperate or warm climates. I don’t see it as a fragrance for a special occasion or an important night out. The longevity seems good to me. On my skin it lasts between 3 and 5 hours, while on clothes it lasts much longer. As I always say, perfumes tend to last little on me, so I always test both on skin and fabric and, curiously, Plaisance is the Chilean brand that has given me the best performance. You can tell it aims to convey the feeling of a designer perfume and, in my opinion, it achieves it. Its price also plays in its favor, it’s around 14 dollars and can often be found on sale for about 10. I wouldn’t say Hot Blossom smells exactly the same, but it does evoke the same feeling I had when as a child I smelled sweet pea flowers in my grandmother’s garden: a nice scent, between fruits and flowers, on a sunny morning. More than reminding me of a perfume, it reminds me of a beautiful moment, and that makes me enjoy it even more.
