Honestly, I don’t really know what lavender actually smells like, but since it’s a flower, this perfume reminds me of a field of aromatic flowers with a mentholated touch. It lasts quite well across all its facets; by the end, it feels a bit more woody, and although the floral part isn’t as lively anymore, something very subtle remains alongside that rich wood. I get a unisex vibe, but it leans more masculine.

I almost didn’t buy it because of the notes listed, but I’ve learned not to trust Fragrantica, as there’s a strong olfactory bias from many people, especially young ones who only know trendy scents. I found it great: it has a fresh, persistent lavender that feels clean. In the dry down, there’s a slight sweet, vanilla-like aroma, very subtle, probably from the tonka bean and praline notes. The lavender is there from start to finish.

Smells rich, po.

I’m young and usually prefer sweet, marine, fruity, vanilla, and woody perfumes with oud, something with a mature character. But this perfume is weird: it smells like an old man’s cologne, like those typical floral body creams for older ladies. It’s quite vintage; if you’re under 30 and a fan of sweet and fruity scents, this Homem Elo won’t be for you. It smells too floral and has a vintage style. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it either; its performance is average, lasting 4-5 hours with medium-low projection for about an hour and a half. It doesn’t smell bad because in the dry down it leaves that clean, soapy scent, like just out of the shower, impossible to say it smells bad, but it’s not flattering or very novel. I give it a 6.5/10. Not a blind buy. Not formal, less party or nightwear; I see it for daily use, going to work, or at home for lunch or a barbecue with friends in summer or spring.

I find it to be a formal fragrance for daily use that fits very well in cold climates; the lavender and pepper notes stand out a lot and become very pleasant in the trail. Personally, I’d wear it for work and on special occasions for people over 25.

Homem Elo is a woody fougère EDP, exquisite and very pleasant; it smells of clean, mature, sparkling lavender with a dark touch. It opens with wild lavender and pepper; the heart features lavender, vetiver, patchouli, and cypress; the base has cedar, amber, and praline. Longevity is very good, above average. Projection: noticeable easily for 2 to 3 hours, then gradually fades. Sillage: leaves a trail on the sides of almost a meter and behind for a meter and a half. Aura: felt around you at a meter or a meter and a half and accumulates in enclosed spaces without bothering anyone, quite the opposite. Lasts more than 8 hours on skin and over 24 on clothes. I recommend it for all climates and occasions, except sports because it’s elegant. I think it’s for those over 25. I recommend it blindly if you’re looking for an elegant, pleasant, and aromatic signature scent. Personally, I loved it for that dark, clean lavender; it projects what it should, lasts for the day, and stays on clothes; it’s among the best from Natura.

Wild lavender at the start, just like the scent of a lavender flower you cut in the field. It dominates absolutely with hints of pepper that give it freshness. As it dries down, a very Terre d’Hermes-style vetiver comes through (without resembling it) and gradually sweetens with the tonka. It’s very masculine; my wife and mom loved it a lot. I’ve really liked it; it doesn’t resemble anything from Natura or another house; that makes it authentic. I think it’s perfect for casual business or formal wear. It might scare young noses, so it’s not a blind buy unless you’re of mature age, since the first impression will remind you of nineties perfumes (only at the start). For me, it’s a 9/10, as I felt it projected little, but I’ll keep testing it.

Fresh perfume; I was surprised by its longevity, still getting bursts of scent at 8 hours. Perfect for the office and heat, not invasive, great value for money.

An aromatic fougère with a very energizing spark; it feels like a lavender bath with a very sharp pepper that leaves a great trail wherever you go.

The opening is very bad, but after 10 minutes the magic begins; it has the exquisite dry down of Sauvage. Jewel.

To start, this is a super formal scent; no shorts or sportswear allowed; it goes from casual to elegant. The opening is intense: the lavender explodes and lasts for hours before settling into a clean, sustained dry-down. Then it blends woods and powdery citrus, ending in a soapy, sticky trail. Imagine walking through a forest after days of rain, where the humidity amplifies the scents of earth and spices. WARNING: DO NOT SPRAY IT ON CLOTHES OR THE LAVENDER WILL BE SUFFOCATING.

Son a child between Sauvage Elixir and Narciso Rodríguez’s Bleu Noir.

I like it. Typical men’s fragrance, spicy and fresh, though the notes are a bit tiring to the nose; however, it has great longevity.

Personally, I love it. I thought it had poor longevity and sillage, but that’s because it causes olfactory fatigue; in truth, it lasts quite a while. It smells clean, like mature lavender, mint, and spices; sometimes it reminds me of eucalyptus. I see it as very versatile, more for summer days and heat, although I’m wearing it right now in the middle of winter.

It’s a fresh, lavender/aromatic/mossy scent with interesting projection that you can definitely notice, but it’s not groundbreaking; you can find similar scents in low-cost brands like Gigot or Bagues, and it resembles Antonio Banderas’s original ICON. It projects a mature, fresh, and masculine profile that grabs attention. It’s not a massive olfactory masterpiece, but it has presence. It’s versatile, ideal for everyday wear or work so you can keep smelling it all day.

If it has a resemblance to Beau du Jour by Tom Ford, I’d say it’s the version for the masses, due to the price and because the lavender, key here, doesn’t smell high-quality (like an oil or Pour Un Homme by Caron, Beau du Jour by Tom Ford). Let’s be honest or understand that, being in a herbal context, it feels a bit loud. Of course, once it settles, it improves, let’s say in the ‘barber shop EDT’ zone; it could be in the same league as Brut & Cie without falling into the musty category. I think that saves Elo from a less benign review: it smells like a modernized classic, quite pleasant, and without oriental remnants from the family. I own BdeJ and use it from time to time because applying it reminds me of its price, so this could be an alternative to complement it or for those who want something from the high end without breaking the bank or spending foolishly.

If it has any resemblance to Tom Ford’s Beau du Jour, I’d say it’s the version for the masses, due to the price and because the lavender, which is key in the formula, doesn’t feel as high-quality as Caron’s Lavande or Pour Un Homme. Maybe it’s because its scent sits in a herbal context and feels a bit loud. But once it settles, it improves, landing in the realm of ‘barber shop EDTs,’ in the same league as Brut & Cia but without falling into old-man territory. I think that saves Elo from harsher criticism; it smells like a classic updated for today, quite pleasant and without rancid oriental trails. I own Beau du Jour and use it occasionally because applying it reminds me of its price, so this could be an alternative to complement it or for those who want something similar to the expensive stuff without breaking the bank.

There’s no doubt that the Homem line is the best from Natura in terms of price, quality, and variety. This Elo is different from the previous ones: a lavender-based perfume, but not vintage; it’s been modernized with a certain sweetness that makes it very pleasant. I loved it very much, although I don’t think it’s for every age; I lean towards 30+. Ideal for the office, very good longevity, excellent quality, and distinct from other fragrances in the line when lately everything seems the same.

I can’t agree with Master Pollo. Homem Elo seems crazy to me; I’d say it now surpasses the Tato or they are neck-and-neck. If there were a lavender caramel, that would be its scent. I’m surprised by the negative reviews. I find it very versatile, especially during the day, but it could easily work at night if you don’t have another option. It’s first on my list of perfumes to buy next.
Santo Lorenzo
On first impressions, that powerful lavender (which lasted hours on my skin and a full day on my clothes) reminds me of K (I own the EDP). The performance is very good; the lavender scent is pleasant, but if you overdo the sprays, it can become annoying to yourself. I recommend it.

There’s no doubt that the Homem line is Natura’s best, both in price/quality and variety. This ELO is different from the previous ones: a lavender-based perfume, but not vintage, modernized with a certain sweetness that makes it very pleasant. I loved it a lot, but I don’t think it’s for every age; I lean towards 30+, ideal for the office. I’ve been waiting a long time for them to launch this here in Mexico, so I had high expectations (thinking I’d find something totally new and disruptive). While it smells clean and fresh, this time it fell short on longevity and sillage: I’ve had it on for two hours and can barely perceive it beyond my personal bubble. It definitely reminds me a lot of Essencial Supreme (the red bottle), which I tested and loved so much that I bought two bottles (and I did it just in time because they discontinued it); I still prefer Supreme a thousand times over, without a doubt.
Pablod78p
I wear it with me and it’s a really rich perfume; what stands out most is the lavender with moss, following the line of Homme Océan: soft, rich, fresh, and clean. It has a synthetic note I can’t quite pinpoint, making it feel like a low-cost cologne that doesn’t stand out. To me, it’s fresh, ideal for spring, summer, or the office so as not to overwhelm the person working next to you. Far from being standout, but if you’re looking for something that isn’t overpowering and smells clean, this is the fragrance. I wouldn’t buy it at full price, only with a good discount.

I tried it in Brazil and have a 1 ml sample: a rich perfume, extremely potent and long-lasting. Pure lavender.
