Have you worn Amó?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. I remember when my sister used to wear this; I loved the trail. Today I finally have it—she gifted me an old bottle she had saved. It’s beautiful, very feminine, smelling like a bouquet of white flowers but more special than the typical ones, probably thanks to the violet. It’s heartbreaking that it’s discontinued; I’ll only use it for special occasions.

  2. I remember when my sister used this perfume and I loved the trail she left. Today I have it because she gifted me a bottle she hadn’t used in years. This perfume is beautiful; I think it’s very feminine, it’s like smelling a bouquet of very beautiful white flowers, but no, it’s not the typical white flower scent I felt in other fragrances. This one is more special; I don’t know if it’s because of the violet note, but I’m fascinated. It’s a pity it’s discontinued; I’ll have to save it for special occasions.

The dry-down smells extremely similar to Paco Rabanne’s One Million.

  4. FraganDux

I tested an old sample and the opening smells just like Givenchy’s Pi. It’s a good fragrance, but the longevity is low.

It’s very warm, sweet, and spicy. It has great longevity and nothing citrusy, quite the opposite.

  6. I wouldn’t say it’s very sweet or that it lasts a breath. For me, it lasts about 6 hours well, and a bit longer closer to the skin if applied generously. It doesn’t smell generic either; I don’t recall smelling anything alike, though it produces a ‘no surprise’ effect. The opening is floral and slightly crisp, barely citrus with a lot of natural orange. The alcohol dries quickly, revealing a curious masculine accord, probably due to the violet, amber, and dissonant with the sweetness. The orange remains present. It’s quite special, but not for everyone’s nose.

Bad for me; a sweet, generic aroma that almost felt like a waste of money.

I bought it blind and was hugely disappointed. It’s not worth the price because it’s not even a Body Splash. The longevity is minimal; it evaporates right off the skin. I ended up returning it and exchanging it for something that lasts longer. So far, nothing from Natura has convinced me, only the freshness of Acai, which lasts about 6 hours. The saleswoman gave me samples after my complaint, but the options don’t close the deal on either fragrance or price. It’s too expensive for the quality; I prefer Avon.

I bought this fragrance blind and it disappointed me greatly. It’s not worth the price because it’s not even a Body Splash. Its longevity isn’t scarce; it’s almost non-existent. And it’s too soft; more than right on the skin, it evaporates immediately. I ended up returning it to the brand, which fortunately exchanged it for another one, which although not good, at least lasts longer. So far, none of Natura’s fragrances have convinced me, only the freshness of Acai, which lasts about 6 hours on me. The saleswoman gave me all the samples after my complaint, but the truth is, neither the fragrances nor the price close for me; it’s expensive for the quality. I prefer Avon.

  10. Powdery, vanilla, white flowers… warm, it’s a tender hug. When I wear it, I feel in love. I love this perfume; soft trail, 6-hour longevity. In its dry-down, it smells fruity; it’s crazy how it doesn’t seem like the same perfume.

  11. A very rich floral-vanilla fragrance; I feel it’s perfect for use in hot weather. It’s not a perfume that cloyes; I find some resemblance to YSL’s Manifesto.

The opening is beautiful: powdered vanilla, freshly blooming jasmine, and drops of orange and lemon. Then the strong flowers emerge with a woody base. In the end, it settles into a floral-vanilla scent with a touch of tender orange, like an essence or a custard. Very delicate and feminine.

The opening of this perfume is beautiful. A background of powdered vanilla with freshly blooming jasmine and a few softened drops of orange and lemon. Then the stronger flowers stand out with a woody base. In the end, it leaves a tender floral-vanilla scent with a touch of gentle orange, like a faint essence, like a custard. Very delicate and feminine.

I’m obsessed with this fragrance. I tried the sample and ended up keeping it. It has great longevity. It’s very sweet but not overwhelming. What I notice is a smoky touch, like it has incense, even though it doesn’t seem to. It brings back childhood memories because it’s so cozy; the vanilla makes it very warm. I think the name ‘Amo’ fits perfectly with what it conveys.
