So far there are no Spanish reviews, so let me share my experience with Afnan Highness VI. At first, it smells like Dylan Blue and Sauvage, but it’s its own thing—nothing copied. The opening is super metallic, like spraying Sauvage onto a hot steel sheet (and I’m not under any influence). Then it drops to something sweet and sour, probably the blackcurrants. After a few hours, it settles down and everything smells like shower gel or liquid soap; I assume that’s the musk. Performance is excellent: longevity exceeds 12 hours. Strong projection lasts over two hours, reaching two meters with four or five sprays, and just over a meter with two or three. The trail is brutal. Unfortunately, because it’s so sharp, it gives me olfactory fatigue; sometimes it seems to disappear and then comes back strong. The first time I tested it on a blotter, a bit splashed onto the kitchen table; since then, every time I walk in, it smells freshly sprayed, and that lasted for quite a few hours.
For now, there are no Spanish reviews, so here’s my take on Afnan Highness VI. It smells like Dylan Blue and Sauvage—similar but not the same. The opening is super metallic, like spraying Sauvage onto a hot steel sheet (I swear I’m not under any influence). Then it softens into something sweet and sour, likely from the blackcurrants. Hours later, it calms down and smells like shower gel or soap, I think that’s the musk. Performance is top-notch: longevity goes over 12 hours. Strong projection lasts more than two hours, reaching two meters with 4 or 5 sprays, and a bit over a meter with 2 or 3. The trail is insane. Unfortunately, since it’s so sharp, it gives me olfactory fatigue; sometimes it seems to vanish only to reappear strong. The first time I tested it on a blotter, a bit splashed on the kitchen table; ever since, every time I walk in, it smells freshly sprayed, and that lasted quite a while.
A gem from AFNAN with stunning packaging. It’s a luminous, fresh blue with an upfront citrus note (I think bergamot), featuring prominent lavender and expressive nutmeg. It’s sweet and fruity in just the right measure thanks to the blackcurrants, with an amber note that lingers throughout and a herbal, woody base. It’s super balanced, shares the Loewe 7 Cobalt DNA but spicier. Goes for everything, casual or formal, and shines more in the heat. Projects masculinity and elegance, niche quality—hence the name ‘Highness.’ In short, exquisite. Lasts over 8 hours, projects strongly for 3 hours, and has a huge trail at first. Highly recommended, buy blind and it won’t disappoint.
A total banger from AFNAN with a stunning bottle; it’s blue, luminous, and fresh. Citrus opening (I think bergamot) that’s not written down but is definitely there, with lavender taking the lead and expressive nutmeg. Sweet and fruity with blackcurrants, noticeable amber from start to finish, and a woody/herbal base. Perfectly balanced, it shares DNA with the fabulous Loewe 7 Cobalt but is spicier. It works for everything—casual and formal, all weather, though it shines brightest in the heat. Projects masculinity and elegance, signals niche quality, which is why the name “Highness = Alteza”. In short, exquisite. Lasts over 8 hours, strong for 3 hours, and has a huge trail in the first hour before moderating. Highly recommended, buy blind because it never disappoints.
The bottle is elegant, and that blue really defines it. It has a perfect balance of fruity, spicy, and citrus notes. Ideal for going out or a classy day, with lasting power and a trail of about three hours. Recommended for any season, 10/10.
Smells like my grandfather. It’s overly regal, even compared to Loewe 7 Cobalt; it’s an intense, bitter patchouli. If you’re under 30, stay away. I wanted to try this DNA, but it just didn’t work for me.
