Hayba isn’t like those rose-and-oud blends that just make you yawn. This smells like real art, not a formula off the shelf. At first, it sounds familiar enough to make you think, ‘not again,’ but you put it back on and yes, there’s a genuine oud here that you can tell. The repeated opening dries down nicely over a musk that adds depth. I wore it at noon and it was still going strong at 9 PM—not because it lasts for crazy hours, but because of how it evolves. It doesn’t project a mile away; it’s more of a reserved scent, but that’s exactly what it needs to be versatile. In the end, this rose-and-oud combo makes sense, and the musk makes it useful for more seasons of the year.
