Another relic I can smell thanks to a miniature given to me by a friend. A perfume nearly impossible to find today at a good price. As its name suggests, it’s a floral festival or a walk through a sea of wildflowers under the sun. An incredible sensation hits you the moment you spray it: very sweet, with generous honey but also an imposing floral side; it’s an olfactory immersion into the past, when women of all ages smelled of flowers. Grand Fleuri is a love for Van Gogh’s impressionism in the form of a fragrance. A charming blend of mandarin, peonies, honeysuckle, jasmine, noble woods, and honey with vanilla makes it a unique homage to the beauty of nature in its full splendor. When the honey melts with the florals, it becomes an addictive potion that releases all its sensuality. Without aldehydes, it stands out from similar contemporary proposals; it’s more of a 90s fragrance with the typical complexity of notes (something sadly forgotten today) that perceptibly expands in the air without being aggressive. Perfumes like this have the power to spark fires in my heart, celebrating the passion and magic of two hearts meeting, reminding us of an era when any ‘soap and water’ girl would transform into an irresistible goddess by night. A true honor thanks to Alain Astori for creating this jewel that didn’t have a long life on store shelves. There were no applause when the curtain fell, but now I give my own applause for creating this composition that, by chance, I can try more than 30 years after its launch.

Hi! I had the one that came in the blue box, and it was absolutely amazing.

I used to wear it when I was 16, and it’s no longer sold in Argentina. It was super sweet; just two drops were enough. At first, it was a bit cloying, but throughout the day it softened and became very rich. What a shame I can’t get it anymore.
