Have you worn Fou d’Absinthe?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. Currokontodo

Smells incredible, but the trail and longevity are a disaster. It had the potential to be a wood classic, but they messed it up; at this price, don’t even think about buying it. If you catch a decant, test it first: smell the wonderful top and then complain about how fleeting it is. It smells like fresh absinthe, yes, but without the bite. Notes of anise, incense, maybe patchouli. Since it fades so fast, everything is lost. If you want to make it last, spray it on clothes, but you have to use a lot, which hurts your wallet. It works in any weather, though it feels greener in the cold. What a pity.

  3. Low longevity, barely noticeable right on the skin after a few hours, even though I tested the Eau de Parfum. For me, it’s completely dispensable, especially at this price point.

  4. Poor longevity; barely noticeable close to the skin after just a few hours, even though I tested the perfume water. For me, it’s completely dispensable, especially at this price.
