  Try this fragrance today and it left my heartbroken. The scent itself is a 10/10, and if this were the first F.Bianchi I ever tried, I’d stop there. But comparisons are cruel, so here are my pros and cons. NEGATIVES: Let’s start with the least bad. It lacks a bit of originality; used to intense, special aromas, this perfume feels a bit more generic than what Francesca usually offers. It’s an easy, pleasant, sweet, and fruity scent with very soft leather and a caramel note that reminds me a bit of Baccarat Rouge’s soul. Obsessive Devotion reminded me a little of Divine Perversion, but this is like a watered-down Divine Perversion with much lighter leather and peaches replacing raspberries. I understand it’s an independent line trying to differentiate from the main brand, but I just can’t see what it adds to the collection. On the other hand, the performance is among the worst in the entire FB line. Projection is very low and longevity is average. Plus, it causes me significant anosmia; after a short time of wearing it, I barely smell it at all. I’ve asked others to check if they could smell it, and they confirm the longevity doesn’t pass 5-6 hours, which is generally not bad, but for a Francesca masterpiece, it’s quite short. POSITIVES: The aroma is totally addictive. While, as I said, it’s not very original and lasts relatively little with low potency, the smell itself is very rich. Even though they say it’s a watered-down DP, in a way, it’s improved, and subjectively, for me, it smells better. Also, it’s much more versatile, suitable for any situation. If Obsessive Devotion was the winter night perfume and Divine Perversion an ideal winter day or summer night perfume; this is a great option for summer/spring daytime wear. As I mentioned before, if I didn’t know other Francesca perfumes, this would surely be a 10/10, but comparison is where I find the problem. I’d say Exquisitez Affair is Francesca’s leather perfume for those who don’t like leather or find other Francesca perfumes too much.
