Descripción

Evening Rose by Aerin, created by perfumer Alberto Morillas in 2013, is a jewel of the oriental floral family designed for women. Its olfactory pyramid unfolds with a top note of bergamot, jasmine, and rose, giving way to a heart of jasmine, rose, and neroli. The base, with its enveloping character, is composed of vanilla, musk, and amber.

This is a marvel!!! One of the best rose fragrances I’ve ever tried. On Fragrantica, someone describes it as ‘a velvety red rose’ and they couldn’t be more right. It’s creamy, mysterious, and delicate all at once. The cognac gives it a slight vintage air and is very pleasant. I expected a fresher, greener rose from the bottle, but discovering the opposite was a pleasant surprise. I recommend it 100%.

What a beautiful perfume. It’s pricey, but I think it’s worth it. It’s a rose fragrance that sets trends, a lovely spicy rose surrounded by incense, with touches of pepper and amber. The fragrance keeps moving; you don’t know which note will stand out at any moment, though the two most intense are the rose and cognac. I can’t quite detect the blackberry. It holds glamour, a chic, elegant, and timeless vibe. It can be worn anytime and anywhere; you give it the special touch and dress it according to the occasion. This perfume doesn’t make you; you make the perfume. Good sillage and longevity. For those who love roses (not a fresh rose) and oriental scents, it’s a good option. Rating 9/10.

I was pleasantly surprised by this perfume: a floral opening, a slightly sweet spicy rose at first, then the incense turns it into a smoky, dark rose. As it dries, the amber comes out, and combined with the incense, it gives a very mystical touch… I definitely loved it. Medium longevity, about 4 hours, projecting well and ending up close to the skin only.

What a stunning perfume! Yes, it’s pricey, but trust me, it’s worth every penny. It’s a trendsetting rose scent: a beautiful, spicy rose wrapped in incense, with hints of pepper and amber. The fragrance evolves beautifully; you never know which note will take the lead next, though the rose and cognac are undoubtedly the most intense. I couldn’t detect the blackberry. It radiates glamour, chic air, elegance, and timelessness. You can wear it anywhere—you’re the one who adds the special touch and dresses it up for the occasion; this perfume doesn’t make you, you make the perfume. Great sillage and longevity. Perfect for rose lovers (it’s not a fresh rose) and those who enjoy oriental scents. Rating: 9/10.

  • The only one I found interesting out of what I’ve tried from Aerin. It reminds me of a sibling fragrance from the same house, Amber Mystique, smelling like the typical (well-executed) rose oud combo. But I’m sticking with Amber Mystique.

A mature, very natural red rose, like roses in a vase with water, just before they start to dry. Good longevity. It’s similar to others like Rose Flash by Tauerville, but the Aerin one is more versatile or less intense.

  • My new love🌹. I tried to win over Hibiscus Palm, the summer sibling, but I’m not a summer perfume person and barely wear 5% in the heat. I tested Hibiscus about 10 times and it failed to conquer me… until I saw reviews for Evening Rose and went to try it. Total love!!! What a rose, gentlemen. It’s a gourmand rose, yes, it provokes eating the person wearing it. It’s a burgundy rose, mature, perfect, soaked in cognac with blackberry jam that makes you drool. A fine incense accompanies it, smoking until the coldest heart. It comes to beautify my autumn, where it will shine in its full splendor. 8 hours on skin, excellent projection for the first 3, then moderate but noticeable. A solid 10… bravo👏👏👏

  • Evening Rose was a blind buy after reading countless reviews and watching videos. Some said it wasn’t for the reviewer, but based on the description and notes, I thought ‘this is for me’ and took the risk, since it’s not cheap. It turned out to be a 110% success. I’m so in love that I feel I’m not doing it justice in my words. It’s one of the best roses I’ve tried: deep, dark, and sexy, nothing like that sweet, artificial designer rose. It has a spicy touch and a well-blended incense, no church-like smell. I feel elegant and classy, like an important woman going out for a drink. It’s not an easy rose for everyone; it’s for when you want something challenging and to feel special. Longevity is 6-8 hours, projection is moderate to strong, and it lasts days on clothes. I don’t recommend buying blind, but if you’re drawn to a spicy rose, try it in person.

  • I bought Evening Rose blind after reading reviews and watching videos. Some said it wasn’t for them, but based on the description and notes, I thought, ‘This is for me,’ and took the risk since it’s not cheap. I was right 110%. I’m so in love that I feel I’m not doing it justice by talking about it. Where do I even start… Let’s talk about the scent: it’s one of the best roses I’ve ever tried. It’s not that typical sweet, artificial designer rose, but a deep, dark, sexy rose. I never thought a rose could be this sexy; my idea was ‘pretty, sweet, and sexy.’ This is a very spicy, piquant rose with a background of incense, but no church-like smell—just perfectly blended incense. Wearing it makes me feel sexy and elegant, like an important businesswoman heading out for drinks. Obviously, you have to like this kind of aroma; it’s not an ‘easy-to-wear’ rose for everyone. It’s for when you want something more challenging, something that makes you feel special and important. Its performance didn’t disappoint either: projection ranges from moderate to strong, lasting 6 to 8 hours on skin, and if it lands on clothes, it sticks to the fabric for days. I wouldn’t encourage buying blind like I did, but if you’re drawn to a spicy, piquant rose and have the chance, try it in person.

  • So glad I could smell it before buying it blind. On my skin, it smells like soap. I don’t get any cognac, blackberry, incense, or rose notes. I was so eager for it to live up to its promises. I smelled it on two different days. Now I can confidently rule it out and leave a reliable personal recommendation.
