It’s basically Jafra’s take on Tommy Hilfiger’s ‘Tommy,’ just with slightly less longevity. Beyond that, the scent is 95% identical.
At first, this fragrance reminds me of many catalog scents, especially the Avon cup-shaped one, thanks to the lavender and a spicy note, I believe pepper. From there comes an amazing lime, very soft, like cutting into a lime on a summer day. The scent stays around 50 cm; it doesn’t project much, but it definitely leaves a very pleasant trail. I recommend it for repurchase; it’s worth it. It sits in the family of CK One and Versace Pour Homme, but this one is more delicious. Lasts about 4-5 hours on my skin.

I’ve got over a hundred perfumes and have been a member for years, but this is my first review. My patient gave me this perfume for Christmas. On my skin, I detect a tobacco note—it’s like a sweet, spicy cherry cigar. A pleasant surprise. I just want to ask the community: is this my perception, or does it actually give that impression? Diving into my catalog fragrance collection, I stumbled upon this bottle of Epic from the late 2000s. It’s woody, lavender-forward, with that signature spicy kick from the pepper. Unlike many catalog lotions, this doesn’t smell synthetic or ‘cheap,’ though its longevity and sillage are quite limited (6/10).
I’ve said it before: I’m not a grapefruit fan, but here it’s perfectly framed and held back by the lavender and other notes that blend flawlessly to create a cold, fresh, soapy, classic, and timeless scent. It’s a cologne with about 5 hours of longevity and moderate projection. Great for heat. I used it in the late 90s and early 2000s and plan to revisit it next summer season.
