Good perfume for the price. It opens with mandarin and mint, evolving into a fresh vibe that balances citrus, aquatic, and green notes with a sweet touch that isn’t cloying. It’s an eau de parfum with average longevity on my skin. Recommended if you’re looking for something pleasant, affordable, yet high quality.
Pleasant surprise. I really liked it. It bears a strong resemblance to Platinum Egoiste, which I owned years ago. Excellent longevity and projection. Even though lavender isn’t listed, I detect it strongly in the opening. I love it.
They say it resembles a PDM and a Chanel fragrance I don’t know. I’d say it’s fresh, aromatic, and lovely, surprising with its price-to-performance ratio, which is typical for this French house. It’s versatile and daytime-appropriate for sunny days and even some nights that aren’t too cold. It works elegantly or casually depending on the occasion. It has an aromatic vibe similar to Versace’s Blue Jeans, but less linear and perhaps a bit more textured in the dry down. It fits that category of scents you want to smell on your wrist all day. It smells expensive, not cheap, with great performance and sillage that don’t disappoint. In 75ml with a beautiful bottle, I’d almost recommend it blindly (it’s under $20 here). With these and others from the F. Olivier collection, you build a basic wardrobe that smells great without spending much. You can also throw in some Jaguar, Ferrari, or Bentley, and the collection is complete.
Time to review L’BEL’s Blue Intense. Since I already own the previous one, I’m curious to see which lasts longer on the skin. It’s a rich, fresh, clean, and crisp summer scent with absolutely no sweetness.
