It’s like a light, fresh version of Burberry Her. A summer version. Here, the strawberries-and-cream feel isn’t what dominates, but rather some slightly tart red berries with violet and musk. It’s a clean and at the same time fruity fragrance. Very pleasant. It also has a hint of Baccarat Rouge, but very subtle. It doesn’t last as long as the other Cher 18s I’ve tried, but that isn’t a problem for me.
I find it very similar to Burberry Her. It’s pretty, but it quickly becomes cloying for me, just like all the Cher 18s. I have it sitting there…
It surprised me; well, I wish it lasted longer. That said, it’s super youthful, and the scent smells like fresh little strawberries.
A perfume I loved at first sniff; at the opening, it reminded me of a similar perfume I wore in my childhood, also from a local brand (Love de 47 Street). However, there are a few points to highlight. It was released in autumn, with the marketing line that ‘red fruits are for this autumn/winter season.’ I think it’s very far from being a perfume to wear in cold weather; it gives me super spring-like perfume vibes. About its notes, it’s important to keep in mind that the red fruits aren’t juicy or cloying (like other perfumes with strawberry, raspberry, etc.), but in this perfume they accompany; they seem more like a frozen, cold strawberry and raspberry. Then the other notes give it just that fresher, balanced touch; it’s not a perfume that shouts. As for its personality, it’s the most romantic, tender, and ‘clean’ of all the Cher 18s. It’s also quite youthful and friendly, although there’s no age limit to wearing it. As for when to wear it, I’d say it’s for everyday, for the gym, for dates, for afternoon outings. I think I saw a review on TikTok that said ‘special for the night,’ something with which I totally disagree, since it’s not a nighttime perfume or ‘dark’ or anything like that. Although it can be worn at night, it’s not the one that shines the most for nights out. As for its longevity, I think it leaves a lot to be desired. I used to wear it and couldn’t smell it on myself, and I never got compliments on it either. However, my mom also has it, and on her you can smell it as she walks by, but only for the first hour. Then you can barely smell it and it disappears pretty quickly. Unfortunately, the longevity is terrible, which is why I wore it just to use it up quickly and to ‘have a perfume on,’ because even though it’s nice, it doesn’t even last 2 hours. Such a shame. Even so, I insist, I wore it in autumn/winter; maybe it didn’t shine as much in that season because the notes are soft. I would give it a chance in spring/summer; maybe then it would be appreciated more. Is it a nice scent? Yes. Does it last? No. Can you make it last? Maybe by combining it with some cologne, body splash, or cream. Cher makes those combos, so if you want to buy it and make it last, you can buy its Body Splash or the cream to go with it and make it shine.
Another fairly common version of the 18 line. I mean, it’s not ugly—you really get the raspberry and a pretty soft floral background. But honestly, there are plenty of fragrances with this same scent, so I’m not blown away.
The same DNA as Burberry Her, but with its differences, obviously. Sweet, fresh, and youthful. It lasts 2 hours on skin at most, and much longer on clothes.
