It’s definitely a copy of the famous One Million. I was pleasantly surprised: its longevity is very good for its low cost, lasting 4 to 6 hours, and even better if you apply it on clothes. The sillage is also very good. I used it once, and after about 4 hours, a girl in a shop said ‘that smells so good’ when I walked by. It’s worth having in your collection for its modest price; use it for everyday moments when you don’t feel like splurging on expensive perfumes. Unfortunately, it has one downside: the ubiquity of the One Million scent, so I only wore it when I knew I wouldn’t be in crowded places. Though despite that, women absolutely love the aroma. Rating: Scent: 7, Projection: 7, Longevity: 8, Versatility: 6, Value: 9. TOTAL: 7.5
I honestly don’t see any resemblance to One Million for real
I don’t own One Million, I’m a lowly collector hahaha. I look for good perfumes that don’t cost more than $35 or $40, but this is an excellent perfume. Lasts 5 to 6 hours with a sillage of 2 or 3. Projection is moderate. Cost-performance is 11/10. It’s a great budget perfume that lets you smell good without worrying about spending too much; I bought it for $6 and grabbed two at once hahaha
TERRIBLE! I don’t know what happened to me, from start to finish it seemed very off. I get that it resembles One Million (which I used years ago), but imagine grabbing a 10ml bottle, adding cheap vanilla oil, and filling the rest with alcohol. That’s your Cuba Royal. I used it once and put it away. I’ll probably give it another try soon. I hope I just had a bad day with my nose, because I can’t believe how highly it’s spoken of
Cuba Royal is identical to One Million, though it gives a different vibe compared to Halloween Man. It’s not exactly the same as the original. I recommend it for fresh settings or autumn, winter, and spring climates; it’s sweet and vanilla-like, very soft on skin and clothes. Lasts over 6 hours and for the price, you can’t ask for more. It’s an excellent clone, matching the original in sillage and longevity, and its elegant presentation makes it a great buy. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Just bought it and it was a pleasant surprise. Smells delicious, I can detect the vanilla and cinnamon, a warm scent. Its best moment is after a couple of hours; the dry-down is spectacular. For a cheap cologne, it’s very good. Lasts about 6 hours on my skin, projects well for two hours, then fades in intensity but still smells great. In conclusion, a good cologne, no regrets at all. PS: I don’t own One Million but they say it’s a good clone. I think the original can wait for now. Cheers
I bought it a few months ago and the scent just didn’t work for me at all. It doesn’t even resemble One Million; I regret it so much. I think the Fraise version of One Million is way better
I didn’t like it. It’s not that it’s bad, I’m just not a fan of One Million, and this smells very similar to it
It’s basically a clone of One Million. For the price, if you like the original, it’s worth it. The longevity and sillage are a bit weak, but for such a low cost, you can’t ask for more
Hey, if you’re about to grab Cuba Royal without trying it first, forget the idea that it smells like One Million. I owned the original and it made me gag, but this is a whole different story: rich, creamy, with a sweet touch that tickles the nose. It feels noble and way less annoying than Halloween Man or the OM. Hope this helps, MiaSanMia
IT’S DISGUSTING. DON’T BUY IT!
I’ll be brief and share a story. This perfume is a copy of Paco Rabanne’s 1 Million, worth ten times less than the original. I was at a party dancing with a girl, she fell for my sexy moves and told me my perfume scent drove her crazy. Guess which one it was? Cuba Royal. In short, it’s worth having or gifting since it’s affordable and a good copy of 1 Million.
This fragrance is quite similar to One Million. The scent recalls a sexy combination of tobacco, chocolate, and vanilla that becomes present to others’ noses, undoubtedly a great perfume. That said, its reduced cost is noticeable in the trail and longevity; while it’s good, it can’t compare to the original, which lasts about 9 hours on me. Here, it lasts about 6 to 7 hours, give or take.
Very rich fragrance, a bit synthetic but exquisite. It’s sweet, with vanilla and tobacco notes. The only thing I have to criticize is the longevity. On my skin, it doesn’t last long; it has no projection or sillage. But if it lasts on your skin, for the price, it’s worth trying.
I don’t know about you, but this thing doesn’t even remotely smell like One Million. It doesn’t smell bad, but it definitely doesn’t resemble it (perhaps the first version, which I’m unaware of). At first, it smells very much of vanilla, and over time you get used to it, and the tobacco notes come through more, with a slightly powdery base. Longevity and projection are quite poor, but for the price, you can’t ask for more. The 30ml version is perfect to carry around and reapply as needed.
Rich fragrance, good price. A bit synthetic but with a nice vanilla and tobacco aroma. I’ve even used it on sunny days with just 2 or 3 sprays. Applying it on clothes makes it last longer, and I feel the dry-down is even better.
If you’re looking for original perfumes and budget alternatives, this is the ‘1 Million’ option. They’re identical, with good longevity, projection, and sillage. The quality exceeds the price; the 100ml version goes for around $10 to $15. The downside is that these accords are mass-market, just like the original. If you’re going out with a girl and wear this fragrance, you risk smelling like her ex. Longevity: 7/10, Projection: 7/10, Masculinity: 8.5/10, Sensuality: 6/10. Overall rating: 6.5/10.
Very similar to One Million, but the longevity doesn’t even come close. After two hours, it’s only detectable up close. Still, for the price you pay, you can’t expect much more.
Very nice smell with an attractive vanilla touch. Lasts quite a few hours on my skin. They say it’s a cup of 1 Million, but since I don’t have the original, I can’t compare or say anything about it.
Smells like One Million but takes a different turn, spicier and more vanilla. The scent is exquisite. Projection is weak to moderate, could be better, but for the price, it’s incredibly good.
I bought it blindly because it was cheap ($11) and it has a longevity superior to 6 hours on my skin. Over time, I stopped liking that robust vanilla scent and discovered that at least on my skin, the drydown is identical to Paco Rabanne’s ONE MILLION and HALLOWEEN MAN X, just more economical. Yesterday I tested Halloween Man X and discovered that CUBA ROYAL is even more similar to the latter than to One Million. UPDATE: I stopped using it for over a year, and when I tried it again, I liked it more; it doesn’t smell as synthetic at the start, but in exchange, its longevity on the skin dropped to 3-4 hours, projecting for 2 hours.
I keep it alongside Zara Uomo; I must say this one is softer. Some might find Zara’s sweeter, but I use them equally. As for performance, it’s not bad: taking myself and my uncle (to whom I gifted one) as reference, I’d say two to three hours with moderate sillage and a longevity of 5-7 hours right on the skin. It’s a scent I’d wear perfectly from adolescence, having a seductive touch yet more serious than Zara Uomo, which is more ‘playful’. Overapplying could make it work for more open or crowded places. Good fragrance and great value for the price.
I understand that some more demanding people might not like it much or say Paco Rabanne is better, c’mon, don’t compare quality elements with more synthetic things. Now, for the price you pay, everything is perfect in my opinion, and to be honest, it pleases a lot of people who perceive its scent.
Rich perfume, clearly inspired by Paco Rabanne’s 1 Million with the house’s classic touch of prominent tobacco. Masculine, nocturnal, and economical. Projection 7/10, longevity 8/10.
My favorite fragrance was always One Million. When I found out it was inspired by Cuba Royal, I rushed to buy it, and honestly, I was surprised; it’s an exquisite scent and yes, very similar to One Million, though personally, I like Royal more. Its only weak point, like all the Cubas, is longevity, but for the price, you can’t pass it up.
Chic, resinous, and vanilla aroma. I’ve never smelled One Million, but this Cuba Royal leaves me indifferent. It smells pleasant but feels like it’s of somewhat low quality. I wouldn’t buy it again.
A very synthetic fragrance where tobacco and vanilla are the stars. In the drydown, a resinous note kicks in, giving it a certain charm. It smells good, it’s cheap, and the longevity is decent. What more could you ask for? Yes, there are higher-quality fragrances out there, but it’s a recommended purchase if you don’t have a big budget.
Very synthetic, which is obvious given the price. I detect more vanilla than tobacco. It has decent longevity and a nice aroma. For the price, it’s a good option.
Unlike Halloween Man, this is a total clone of One Million (including its quality differences). Aside from that, the scent is One Million; Halloween has a different opening and even the drydown takes time to resemble it at 98%, whereas this smells like OM from the start. For the price, it’s excellent if you want to try OM or look for an affordable alternative. The longevity isn’t the best, but it fixes itself with overapplication.
It’s a clone of One Million, something almost everyone already knows. Before diving into niche perfumes, this was my daily driver; I bought it several times because it delivers and smells good. The best part is the price: under $15 and it offers a lot, making it ideal even as a gift for someone who isn’t into the perfume world.
Right now, I have One Million on one arm and Cuba Royal on the other. I can’t believe how similar they are. You can tell the Paco Rabanne one has a bit more quality and a very subtle difference, but only if you smell them side by side; otherwise, you won’t even notice. What the original wins on is performance. But here’s the catch: the Cuba cost me $12 for 100ml, while the One Million costs six times as much, yet it doesn’t last six times longer. Conclusion: I reapply the Cuba as much as I want and keep saving money.
It’s not a powerhouse, but women love it. It doesn’t last long, but it has a vanilla note that girls absolutely adore. It lasts just over three hours and leaves a trail two meters wide. I don’t recommend buying it blindly.
It’s a sweet scent. The opening doesn’t convince me much, but after 15 minutes, that One Million-like smell kicks in. It’s a good perfume, lasts about three to four hours, is very cheap, and I’ve heard good things about it.
It’s a copy of One Million, and even though I’m a huge fan of the original, I’d choose this one a thousand times over. The bottle and price are what save it. Longevity is relative: it lasts longer on clothes, but on skin it depends on your pH. To make it worth it, either buy the original and use it sparingly, or buy the cheap stuff and abuse it; for performance, I’d pick the first option. Clearly: don’t buy blindly—I did, and I was hugely disappointed. That beautiful bottle stays as a learning experience and part of my collection.
I sprayed O.M on one arm and Cuba Royal on the other, and they’re identical. If you know perfumes, you’ll notice the clone is missing a few notes, but out of everything I’ve tried, this is 98% the same.
I bought it because I wanted something similar to One Million in my collection. The opening is disgusting. I let it macerate for months hoping it would change, but honestly, I don’t like it; it seems rancid. I’ve used it twice to give it a fair shot, but the longevity is almost non-existent. It’s sitting there, and I don’t plan on using it again.
I’ve been wearing this for six months; it’s not the best One Million dupe. If you’re looking for something more similar and affordable, go for Secret by Antonio Bandera, either the gold or silver version. I bought it blind and didn’t like it at first because of that tobacco note, which I understand helps with longevity. Over time, I grew to like it as a different, budget-friendly fragrance; I feel more like a flanker. It has that very One Million vanilla, but the tobacco sets it apart, so it’s not for everyone, though it’s worth a try once you get used to the tobacco vibe. I recommend having a certain age (I’m 22) and using it for daily wear, especially avoiding it on very hot days. It has decent longevity, averaging four hours, with moderate to low projection.
It’s an ultra-low-cost One Million by Rabanne, but with the difference that it has a tobacco note and poor longevity of two to three hours in winter. Recommended for anyone who wants to know how the classic One Million smells.
I picked this up during an ML promo for one hundred Mexican pesos. It smells like the PR OM. I used to not care much about perfumes, just wanted something that smelled good and was cheap, regardless of longevity or projection, which is why Cubas were a good option for me. This one has low performance; the main note I smell is vanilla, it’s linear, and I don’t detect any tobacco. It lasts three to four hours, projecting only for the first hour with a 1.5-meter trail, then staying close to the skin; on clothes, it lasts about eight hours. What really surprised me was the compliments from ladies; I own Arab and designer perfumes and haven’t received as many compliments from this little bottle. The first day I wore it was a hot spring day (35 degrees), and at the office, people told me it smelled great and asked what it was. My wife loves it too. I recommend it only if you know the OM and want something similar, plus it’s a steal. Best for ages 25 and up, versatile for any season.
Great budget perfume if you’re on a tight budget. The scent itself isn’t rich and doesn’t last long, but the dry-down does, lasting hours. Today, right before gifting it, I sprayed three times on my forearm, and twelve hours later, I still catch a faint, skin-level hint of vanilla and frankincense—very subtle. If your budget is low, it’s worth it; I think I paid under ten bucks. Don’t expect beast mode projection or longevity. The best part is you get a decant and can reapply as much as you want since it’s so cheap. Regarding the scent, I don’t remember the exact PR OM to say it resembles, but it’s definitely the same style; I wouldn’t buy this as a cheap alternative to that one. I’d go for the Antonio Bandera version instead, which smells better, even though the performance is equally poor.
