I’ve had it for a few days testing it at home to check the longevity, since it’s for autumn/winter. It’s been lasting me over 12 hours on the skin, being quite noticeable close to the skin after that time. One day I put it on at 6 PM and woke up at 7 AM after sleeping, and it still smelled. It’s sweet and addictive, at least for me, making you unable to stop smelling it. I’d recommend it for cold nights, going out with friends, dates, and formal events. Great perfume. I can’t say how similar it is to Creed Centaurus, but I know it smells great and lasts, which is what we ultimately want. Quality/price ratio is a 10/10.
Amazing scent, it’s a one-to-one match with Creed’s Centaurus. Crimson lasts longer on the skin, projects more, and the best part is it costs a fraction of the price.
At first, it felt very “spicy” with the cinnamon and pepper. Over time, I understood it, and it’s one of my favorites for cold weather. My girlfriend says she doesn’t love it, but that it’s rich and mysterious, different from what others wear. Longevity and projection are excellent: it lasted me about 9 hours with heavy projection for the first 2, then moderate. Close to the skin, it lasts up to 12 hours. On clothes, it lasts all day.
Beast of a perfume, it’s a one-to-one with Creed Centaurus, only Crimson lasts longer on the skin and projects more. The best part is that it costs much less.
A total beast of a perfume, warm and spicy. Its longevity is brutal; it’s simply addictive and sexy.
At first, the cinnamon and pepper burned a bit, but it eventually grew on me. It’s my go-to for cold weather. My girlfriend says it smells mysterious and different, though she admits she doesn’t love it. The longevity is brutal: 9 hours with heavy projection at first, then skin-scent until the 12-hour mark. On clothes, it lasts for days.
One of the best things in perfumery, outperforming many designer and niche options in every aspect, for the 36€ I paid. Incredible; the future of perfumery speaks Arabic, I believe.
Crimson, Rayhaan Crimson, arrived recently. Reading the name, I inevitably thought of Gil Grissom, the unforgettable character from CSI: Las Vegas. Maybe it’s the similarity between Crimson and Grissom, or that dark, enigmatic resonance, but from that moment, I associated the perfume with his figure. Upon smelling it for the first time, the connection was immediate: the character and the fragrance seem made for each other. I can imagine the dim lab, only the flickering red glow of a neon light illuminating his face. The name says it all: intense, mysterious, nocturnal. But this night isn’t looking to solve a case; it’s leaving a distinct, invisible yet unerasable mark. Rayhaan Crimson seems born for him. It unfolds like an investigation, layer by layer, note by note, until reaching the heart of the scene. At first, an unexpected hit, a warm sweetness, almost provocative, like the first clue in a sealed file. It’s not just any sweet; it has something spicy, vibrant, blending with the pepper, the flash of his sharp, penetrating gaze. Then emerges the tobacco: not heavy smoke, but a faint whisper, like the trail of ash in an alley after a long night. Unlike the imposing Centaurus, Rayhaan Crimson isn’t dominated by tobacco; it uses it as an echo, a shadow blending with the sweetness and spice. It’s an elegant, contained tobacco that accompanies without overwhelming. As it settles, a play of contrasts appears: on one hand, soft, sweet, enveloping, almost comforting; on the other, that spicy edge reminding you of Grissom’s character—calculating but with a hint of humanity. The fragrance seems to tell its story: a man carrying invisible scars, knowing how to walk between the light of casinos and the darkness of impossible cases without losing his mark. Rayhaan Crimson doesn’t shout; it’s not obvious evidence. It’s more like an invisible footprint, a perfume that stays in memory like a melody heard once. When someone perceives it, they don’t think of “tobacco” or “pepper,” but of the presence of the man wearing it. An aura of serene authority, controlled sweetness, unsolved mystery. Thus, like a CSI episode, Rayhaan Crimson becomes a story in itself. Every note is a clue, every chord a silent interrogation, and the final result is an unforgettable aromatic profile. It stays, like Grissom on screen, immutable, complex, unforgettable.
Arrived today, so I can’t talk about longevity and projection yet; in the test, it didn’t last as long as they say, so I’ll let it macerate. That said, I absolutely loved it. It’s not a fragrance I’d recommend buying blindly. I tested Creed Centaurus and already knew where this scent was heading: if you like spicy notes, especially cinnamon, I recommend buying it. It resembles Centaurus by 80-85% because in Crimson, the spicy notes stand out more than in the original Creed. It’s an even more pleasant scent than Centaurus, which is more particular and cloying without those prominent spicy notes. Both are for special occasions and cold weather. Given the price, Crimson is definitely worth much more.
Another puberty perfume trying to grab attention with loud, cloying, and unpleasant scents. It’s a mishmash of sweet and ultra-synthetic ingredients that Arab brands know how to do for experts. I wouldn’t even say it takes talent to create these abominations. It’s like when you were a kid mixing all the flavors of sodas because you thought it would be amazing, but in the end, you just get a disgusting, overly sweet drink with no identifiable flavor. I wouldn’t wear this for a joke.
Arrived today, and honestly, Centaurus and Crimson are identical, save perhaps for ingredient quality, though I don’t notice a difference. It starts with a rich, spicy cinnamon, then turns semi-sweet with tonka bean, and finally settles down with cardamomo—medicinal and herbal. I wouldn’t buy it if you’re looking for a brand to show off, but the performance is the same; excluding longevity, I’d say it’s similar. Creed has a decent duration, between 6-8 hours, and if Rayhaan performs like that, I’d be more than satisfied. The performance feels a bit decadent: after the first hour, if you don’t bring your nose close, you can’t smell it; it’s present but only in your own bubble, projecting nothing and leaving no trail. It smells great and intense right out of the spray, like all the warm, spicy scents worth buying, but then… it fades.
I just received it, so I can’t comment on longevity or projection yet. In my test, it didn’t last as long as claimed, so I’ll let it macerate. I absolutely love it, but I don’t recommend buying blind. If you like spicy scents, especially cinnamon, get it. It’s 80-85% similar to Centaurus, but in Crimson, the spicy notes stand out much more than in the original. It’s an even more pleasant scent than Centaurus, which feels a bit more particular and cloying. Both are for special occasions and cold weather. Given the price, Crimson is way more worth it.
If you’re interested in Creed’s Centaurus, read this. Let’s be honest, we all love Arabic fragrances because they’re niche clones at ridiculous prices. Crimson is identical to Centaurus; unless you have a super-sensitive nose, you won’t tell the difference even if they’re on the same arm. They smell 90-95% the same. The development is also unnoticeable: Centaurus isn’t a beast, and neither is Crimson. Moderate projection for 3 hours, then it becomes subtle. Longevity is about 6 hours. Nothing special, but Centaurus isn’t either. The difference is the price: 32 euros versus 330. They’re pulling our legs, but well. I’ve decided: Crimson eats Centaurus for breakfast.
Let’s say you’re reading this because you’re interested in Creed’s Centaurus. Don’t fool yourselves; we’re all interested in Arabic fragrances because they’re often well-made imitations of niche perfumes at unbeatable prices, and this isn’t an exception. In fact, it’s a perfect case study for this topic. This Crimson is an identical clone of Centaurus. Yes, I say identical because unless you were born with a privileged nose, you won’t be able to tell them apart even if you wear them on the same arm. That’s a fact. They smell 90-95% the same. As for the development (which is what we all care about), they don’t differ much: Centaurus isn’t a beast, and neither is Crimson. Moderate projection for the first 3 hours, then it becomes quite discreet. Longevity is about 6 hours. Nothing special. But I insist, Centaurus isn’t much better. Where do they actually differ? You guessed it: the price. 32 euros versus 330… it’s ridiculous… they’re pulling our legs, but in a good way. Now it’s up to you to decide which one to buy; in this case, I’ve made my choice. The Crimson eats the pope for breakfast!
Hi. I have to say, it felt elegant and sexy to me. However, I’ll give my honest impression: it smells like Canelés gum (the red 4-pack) mixed with the smell of cigarette smoke right after you’ve taken the cigarette out of the ashtray, not very potent. To simplify: imagine putting a cigarette in the ashtray, then add that cinnamon gum scent with a tiny bit of sweetness. That combination isn’t bad for the price. It smells rich, yes, very rich. As I said, elegant and sexy in my personal opinion. Masculine at first sniff, but fragrances don’t have a gender. So go for it. Finally… SIX HOURS ON SKIN, maybe less. The sillage and projection aren’t the best unfortunately. But for the price, as I said, it’s very good. And if this is what Centaurus smells like… well, what else could you want? Greetings.
This fragrance is unpleasant, without any nuanced words to describe it. On top of that, the scent is extremely persistent.
You need to be careful with the sprays; this isn’t for everyone. It’s warm and spicy with a prominent cardamom note, followed by cinnamon and vanilla. It can get heavy for some. In my opinion, it’s best for special occasions when you want to stand out.
It’s a disgusting fragrance. There aren’t even half a dozen words to describe it properly. Plus, the scent is extremely persistent.
This ranks in my top 3 perfumes, even though I have a huge collection of expensive and hard-to-find scents. Just because a perfume is pricey doesn’t mean it’s good, without a doubt. This is a beast of a fragrance.
If you’re looking for the Centaurus DNA but improved and boosted, go for Lattafa’s Taureau de Combat instead. The quality is insane, it projects well, and it lasts much longer than this. It’s strange that you can’t find it on Fragrantica.
Absolutely not a buy-in-the-dark fragrance. Don’t let influencer hype fool you; it was a total miss for me. Test it before you commit.
Everyone’s taste differs, but this is exactly like Centaurus. If you’re not into that profile, you won’t like this Crimson either. It’s very spicy, lasts long, and is hard to wear casually. I sold mine because I already own Terra, and they felt so similar to me that they were redundant.
It smells exactly like a mechanic’s shop right after they’ve just cleaned it up. Nothing else.
Not a blind buy under any circumstances; don’t get swept up by influencer hype. It was horrible to me. Test before you commit.
I own the Eternal Oud by Lattafa and just picked up this Rayhaan Crimson. Honestly, they’re the same thing. They have slight nuances, but ultimately, it’s the exact same scent.
After using it twice and forgiving it the first time, it’s a great option if you save it for elegant occasions and only spray 2-3 times; otherwise, if the spicy, cinnamon, and warm scent overwhelms you, you won’t want to repeat it. But in the right measure, it looks great, giving that elegant and sophisticated touch for going out dressed to the nines. It lasts over 8 hours with acceptable projection. Very little versatility, only for very special occasions. Nothing for warm climates. It’s more of a night than a day scent. I see it with a black suit and red tie at 100%; it fits like a glove. Nice and original bottle, excellent price. My ratings: Scent 8, Longevity 8.5, Projection 7.5, Price 9, Total 8.25.
Honestly, I didn’t like it; it smells harassing and I only sprayed it once. This perfume will kill someone if you get on the subway in summer. Test it first, for crying out loud, don’t buy it blind; it smells very peculiar. Best wishes to the community.
I bought the 100ml for 39.90€ a while ago with shipping included. For those who haven’t heard of it: it’s an interpretation of Creed Centaurus. Rather than copying it, it takes the spicy-creamy idea and makes it more direct. It’s not easy to wear; it’s spicy and creamy. I get a slight mint caramel sensation, not minty, but fresh in the base. It’s a night scent for dates or going out. If you’re in an enclosed space during the first few hours, I don’t recommend it; it can be a bit overwhelming. It’s one of my two favorites from the brand. Application: Winter 6-8 sprays at max, don’t recommend for summer. On my dry skin it lasts 7 hours, on clothes a full day. Notable sillage for 2-3 hours. Clearly more masculine, though it works well on women too. Should I recommend it? Yes.
I’m fascinated by the opening and then when it dries, the honey and cinnamon notes are impressive. It projects a lot and lasts way too long, which is great.
This is 90% similar to Lattafa’s Eternal Oud, just with a spicy note in the opening.
Too much cardamom and patchouli for my taste. I haven’t heard Centaurus, but it reminds me of Spectre Ghost. If you like warm spicy scents but more gourmand, choose something else; here the cardamom and patchouli are very noticeable, and I don’t smell much cinnamon.
Smells like cherry cough syrup. Super cloying and pointless. Once it dries down, it smells like baby wipes, which is disgusting.
Not a blind buy. To my taste, it’s a beast; the opening is strong enough to potentially choke, but as it dries, it stays similar to Halloween Man Rock On but with more sillage.
Too much cardamom and patchouli for my taste. I haven’t smelled Centaurus, but it reminds me of Spectre Ghost. If you like warm spicy scents but lean towards gourmand, choose something else. Here, the cardamom and patchouli are very noticeable, and I barely smell the cinnamon.
Horrible, I couldn’t wear it. Luckily I tested it in-store and didn’t buy it blind. It projects and lasts way too long, which is my curse. I definitely recommend testing it before buying. Many people love it, but it’s certainly not for everyone.
The first time I atomized it, it was a hard cardamom explosion that filled the room all day. It lasts all day in cold weather or with wind, then on clothes it smells incredible like cinnamon. I recommend it if you like very strong spicy scents.
Smells like cherry cough syrup. Super strong, cloying, and pointless. Once it dries down, it smells like baby wipes.
Fucking garbage, I won’t use it for anything. At least I tested it in-store and wasn’t one to buy blind. It projects and lasts forever (which is my bad luck). If you like it, great, but it’s not for everyone. Definitely test it first, no matter what.
