Descripción
Coro by Xerjoff is a floral-fruity olfactory creation designed for men and women, marking its debut in 2025. This new fragrance unfolds a scent pyramid where the top notes evoke tropical fruits. The heart of the composition is built on a sensory triangle of mango, pineapple, and jasmine, while the base offers a warm and enveloping blend of vanilla, amber, musk, and sandalwood.

It’s the same formula as the 2019 original. The opening hits with a juicy cocktail of tropical fruits that quickly give way to mango and pineapple, accompanied by a floral touch until the sandalwood emerges subtly, which I appreciate. As expected, you can smell the typical Xerjoff musk. It could be another flanker of Erba Pura, though that one feels loud and heavy to me; Coro isn’t that bomb that floods rooms. Here, the proposal is more delicate, intimate, and even sensual. Perfect for warm climates. It doesn’t bring anything new, but it could be the version you’ve been looking for if other scents in the same DNA didn’t work for you.
Coro is one of those perfumes that captivate from the first spray. The opening is overwhelming: an intense, juicy, natural fruity explosion with nothing synthetic. I was surprised that Xerjoff polished that top note so much, even surpassing Erba Pura and Erba Gold. Here, everything is better integrated, more refined and elegant. What captivates me most is the dry down: warm, enveloping, and addictive, a trail that makes you close your eyes to enjoy it. I’d buy it without a doubt… if it weren’t for the fact that the base reminds me a lot of Erba Gold, which I already own. And given the price, I prefer to invest in something more distinct. Still, if you don’t have Erba Gold or are looking for a more polished version of that DNA, Coro is a safe bet. It oozes quality everywhere.
On my skin, the opening of Coro doesn’t convince me: it smells like very old fruits with jasmine, synthetic and a bit musty, something I’ve noticed in other fragrances from the brand. Over time it improves, with mango and pineapple taking center stage and becoming more pleasant. When it dries down, the sandalwood and vanilla base shines, which is the best part. It’s nothing flashy, more of a quiet, no-pretense option for the day. It was a blind buy… I wouldn’t buy it again. P.S.: My daughter said it smelled like bathroom perfume lol, I guess she also picks up on that synthetic tone I get with several of her fragrances.
