  The thing about Milton Lloyd clones is that they’re like candy: every new release makes me crave it. This one smells like gummy candy. Western forums and lists say it’s Euphoria, but to me, it’s just a resemblance; it lacks the depth and darkness of the original. Colour Me Diamonds smells like the offspring of two 80s legends: Avon’s Bubble Gum shower gel (that strawberry gum with sugar that gave us cavities) and Black Tulip, fresh and musky. The opening of kiwi and strawberry is explosive, with strawberry dominating everything. Then comes a tangled ball of yarn played with by a cat: a playful tangle that confuses you at first, but if you look closer, it smells exactly as it says: aquatic lotus, warm plum, champagne fizz, dark orchid, amber, vanilla, and lots of musk. This reminds me of the green, wet, almost marine musk of Myrurgia’s Oasis. In short, it’s a cocktail of champagne with sweet red fruit, very musky, and a watery touch. The only downside is that the blend of notes can seem synthetic, but I don’t care. Everything else is a win: ridiculous price and incredible longevity. Like the Milton Lloyds, it lasts many hours and leaves a noticeable trail.
