Not much is said about this perfume, and smelling it was a great surprise. The opening features sweet blackcurrants with a ton of fruit. At first, I couldn’t identify them and it sounded like a cocktail, but checking the notes reveals peach, pineapple, and pear. The vanilla is present throughout. As it dries down, the caramel takes center stage and becomes the star. It’s not a dupe and doesn’t smell like Mon Paris, but they are cousins. If you like that blend, you’ll surely love Caprice de Marie. Lasts more than 6 hours on skin with moderate sillage. It’s a fruity scent that sounds familiar, though I can’t quite place where I’ve smelled it before. At first, it smells super fresh with fruit notes; the peach stands out with a touch of pineapple and pear. The blackcurrants are there, though I didn’t notice them as much. It’s fresh, sparkling, cheerful, and feminine. I would definitely buy the full bottle.
