The ultimate ecclesiastical fragrance; I can’t live without it. From the sample, I knew it had to be in my collection. If there’s a heaven, it smells like this: angels, chapels, and baroque monasteries. Tanja uses only the finest ingredients. Monastic frankincense dominates, balanced by honey for creaminess and precious woods for body and warmth. It lasts over 10 hours with a powerful trail. The only downside is the price at 169€ for 30ml, but it’s worth every penny. If you love ecclesiastical incense, try it—it’s the best in its class.
As Fran says, Calling All Angels is pure incense. The rose adds a powdery, silky touch, while vanilla and honey bring sweetness. It’s balsamic—a dirty, smoky amber centered on frankincense. It’s not quite my usual style since I already own so much incense, but the quality and performance are top-notch. I’d recommend it to lovers of incense and smoky amber. In my top 3 incense scents. The blend of frankincense and opoponax is flawless, creating an accord that stands out from the usual. At first, the rose shines alongside myrrh and that dry touch of benzoin. It’s a unique incense with incredible longevity. It reminds me a bit of Interlude, but the difference is massive, so those 5-6€/ml really show. Rating: 8/10. Value: 4.8/5
