Sweet amber that shines and lingers on my skin with a distinct almond note. It’s nothing like the brand’s own Ambre, which is more herbal due to lavender, neither in the opening nor the dry down. On skin, its evolution reminds me a lot of Armani’s Ambre Écossique and even Grand Soir by Kurkdjian. I recommend trying it if you’re an amber lover and have a physical store nearby. It’s not risky to buy blind: it’s warm, sweet, enveloping, long-lasting, and very easy to enjoy and wear.
Another gem from Molinard! A rich amber scent, one of my favorites. It smells incredible, a totally unisex composition. This niche brand really knows what it’s doing—what a hat trick! It’s a mix of vintage vibes and high-quality perfumerie de niche, because there’s so much of that out there. Very spicy, ambered, musky, oriental, and meticulously sharp. If you have a bottle, congratulations, you own a treasure. One of the most prized… hard to find, maybe even discontinued. Longevity: moderate, no; it’s the next level.
