Stepping out of your comfort zone with fragrances like this one is a real surprise. At first, my nose picks up something reminiscent of Coca-Cola, though it’s not actually soda—just a fleeting nod that lasts a few minutes. I guess it’s the combination of orange peel, lime, and cognac. Once it dries down, myrrh, tonka bean, and a woody vanilla emerge, clouding the senses. I’m not entirely sure what opium smells like, but it adds a resinous touch, transforming the scent from sparkling to a delicious, spicy woody profile. Another one for my wishlist; it has to be mine. I can’t stop smelling my arm. Flawless longevity and moderate sillage.
