Laurence Dumont perfume with top-notch quality for the price. Not my favorite from the collection, but definitely a great scent. The opening is a soft, warm, almost sweet woodiness, then the jasmine emerges but in a very woody, creamy way—not the typical feminine jasmine, but one with character, semi-powdery, warm, and deeply woody. After a few hours, the jasmine fades slightly and the woods take over: warm, sweet, balsamic, and spiced, with a mysterious, oriental touch that’s incredible. It’s a soft yet persistent fragrance that lasts long on the skin without being overwhelming; it’s more subtle, you have to get close to notice it, like an aura that envelops you. If you’re looking for fresh, light scents, look elsewhere. It’s unisex and priced to kill, highly recommended if you like elegant floral woods. Les Senteurs Gourmandes is Laurence Dumont’s collection, not an independent designer line as Fragrantica claims, so it’s duplicated in the database since it’s already correctly listed under their profile.
