Blck XD has had me hooked for years; this one is my favorite—it sounds more sophisticated than the original.

I didn’t hesitate to buy it after smelling it in the store, but wearing it daily was a mistake… it smells like a mature perfume and a bit dusty. It’s a floral-powder blend, at least for me. It has great longevity and clings very close to the skin.

I loved it when I tested it in the store and how it felt on my skin hours later. The downside is that by the time I decided to buy it, there was no stock left, and I couldn’t find it anywhere because it was a limited edition ☹

What is all this talk of ‘fragrances for young people’ versus ‘for adults’? Anyone who speaks like that doesn’t understand the world of scents and is just expressing prejudice against people.

To be honest, I didn’t like it much. They’re moving away from being youthful fragrances and becoming more adult; to me, they feel floral yet penetrating. Perhaps due to the saffron, there’s a soft wood note enhanced by patchouli, and there’s a sweet note that should be vanilla but doesn’t quite smell like vanilla.
