  • Beauty & the Beast? I like it, good work by Disney. It’s the most expensive in the collection: the oud-rose combo is cliché, but in the dry-down, the rose (with a classic cut) overwhelms the rest; it’s sharp, intense, spicy, and almost aldehydic. The oud is noticeable with blue cheese reminiscences and a chocolatey nuance from the cocoa, though it’s a supporting actor at the start. It takes time to develop; after 1.5 hours, the rose loses its punch and the oud takes its place. That’s when I enjoy it: the oud is aggressive, a typical fermented milky scent, not the stable smell beginners claim. Is it more aggressive than ‘The Night’? No, though don’t expect something friendly. High performance, unisex-masculine, but limited versatility. If the rose were less intense and sharp, maybe I’d buy it. The perfume is difficult because of the rose, not the oud. The beautiful part is the rose, and the beast emerges as the oud dries down. Incredibly that an oud-rose combo from Areej Le Doré is still available months later. Unthinkable. The final word belongs to the public: we seek experiences outside the mainstream, and this isn’t what’s expected. The brand has declined; their last 12-14 perfumes have passed without glory. They aren’t bad, but they’re below their early creations. That magic is gone. If you don’t believe me, you can still buy their Civet de Nuit, which has been on the market for a year.

The oud shows up with blue cheese reminiscences and a chocolatey nuance (thanks to the cocoa), though it’s secondary at the start and not very strong initially. • This fragrance is an olfactory masterpiece that reinvented my idea of perfume. The Beauty and the Beast story is fascinating: launched in 2020 by Areej Le Doré, it uses top-tier natural ingredients. Every bottle is a jewel evoking human duality—the sweet and the wild. The base notes, which define the final character, are Indian oud, rose water, and oud wood; you’ll definitely smell them strongly. Heads up: after 30 minutes, your brain might reject the scent due to olfactory fatigue, but it will hit everyone else hard. The Indian oud brings complexity and exoticism, the rose adds a floral and romantic touch, and the oud wood reinforces that presence with richness and a smoky nuance. It’s a magnetic dry-down that leaves behind luxury and sophistication. A true jewel, as I said.

  • This fragrance is unique, an olfactory artifact that has reinvented my idea of perfume. The ‘Beauty and the Beast’ story is fascinating: launched in 2020 by Areej Le Doré, a house famous for top natural ingredients. Each bottle is a jewel evoking human duality—the sweet and the wild. The base, which gives the final character, features Indian oud, rose water, and oud wood; I guarantee you’ll smell them strongly. Half an hour in, your brain might discard the scent due to olfactory fatigue, but those nearby will notice it. The Indian oud brings complexity and exoticism, the rose a floral and romantic touch, and the wood reinforces that presence with rich, smoky woody notes. It’s a magnetic dry-down that leaves behind luxury and sophistication. A small jewel.

I’ve been collecting perfumes for years and have tried the world’s finest gems, but this is in a league of its own. It’s by Russian Adam, a genius who doesn’t do normal things. Upon application, it smells like a rose blooming with class—not your typical flower, but one that captures its beauty at the perfect moment, radiating tenderness and luxury instantly. What makes it special is the cocoa heart, so rich you almost taste it, and the base where oud and rose water blend in a seductive dance. The oud adds a hypnotic woody depth, while the rose softens everything, making it incredibly romantic. In short, it smells like eternal love and is an absolute rarity in perfumery.

As a perfume enthusiast for years, I’ve tried masterpieces, and this is one of them. Created by Russian Adam, a master known for his unique compositions. The opening is magnificent: a rose blooming with elegance, not common, capturing the fleeting beauty of the flower in full bloom, radiating tenderness and luxury from the start. The heart features rich, enveloping cocoa, almost edible. In the base, the oud and rose intertwine in a seductive dance. The oud adds hypnotic woody depth, while the rose brings floral softness, making it incredibly romantic. Together, they speak of intense and enduring love, a true anomaly in perfumery.
