I like the scent, but not enough to buy it. It opens citrusy, and those citrus notes dominate the entire evolution, with marine and salty undertones. I’ve tried others in this vibe, and this one doesn’t captivate me as much. The performance is perfect: it lasts and projects well. It’s very aromatic, mossy, and seaweed-like. I don’t see it as a compliment generator, but rather for personal enjoyment if you like this profile. In the end, it doesn’t attract me enough to keep in a bottle, though I do enjoy it.
At first, as it dried down, I loved it, but now I think it’s a bit overrated and isn’t the beast everyone claims it is.
The ‘artik’ part is real: it’s cold, blue, and salty (very salty!), like the North Sea, with that aromatic, green seaweed touch that reminds me of celery and the freshness of Juanelo mints. Very evocative. Absolutely masculine. Great performance without being heavy and monumental longevity. Ideal for the modern Captain Ahab.
The name doesn’t lie: it’s truly the Arctic Ocean, with those marine notes you notice instantly. The salt is what defines it as it dries and lingers for hours. For me, the fact that the salt never fades in intensity doesn’t convince me, though I admit it’s a good perfume.
Another blind buy with zero regrets. I don’t know how to define it: I expected citrus to dominate more, but on my skin, it doesn’t. It comes out very clean at first, then evolves with a salty touch, though nowhere near the level of ADS by Profumum Roma. It’s not a beast in projection, but it lasts forever on the skin. I give it an 8 because I find it very wearable.
The decaf version of Lattafa Atlas has no sillage or projection.
It’s the decaf version: it leaves no trail and projects nothing, on par with Atlas by Lattafa but much more discreet.
It smells too salty and potent, very masculine. I thought I’d get hooked, but the absinthe note is way too prominent; if you don’t like the vegetal touch, this isn’t for you.
