  Seems like the first review, so I’ll get straight to the point without the jargon. It’s sweet but not over the top; the opening is sweet and fresh, then the woods and alcohol settle in. It has an earthy note, but it’s not ugly, it works well. In short, it smells like eating something hot and sweet on Christmas, next to a real pine tree. I don’t see much development and I’d like the sugar to be less potent so I can wait for the oud to come through; that way it’s more comforting, though it might be too sweet for some. Projection is average and it lasts about 5 hours on the skin. When I wear it to sleep, I smell nothing upon waking, just the pillow. Since I sleep 7 hours, this info holds up. It’s not the most unique on the market, but I’m glad it’s accessible; you can find it at Sephora in the USA and the price is reasonable.

  It’s 100% a man’s scent. I don’t get why they call it unisex; we can all wear what we want, but you have to know what it actually smells like. The dry down is pure cedar with a cloying sweet touch. I thought, being from Ellis Brooklyn, it wouldn’t last long, so I didn’t mind smelling like a lumberjack drinking whiskey in his pine cabin all day, but turns out it’s the longest-lasting of the four I’ve tried (seven hours). What bad luck.
