Apothéose: Starts with a spicy eucalyptus that wakes you up. Then comes the ylang-ylang with a very subtle rose note. In the dry down, everything blends together and the musk shines, without that typical benjoin found in other Oriza L. Legrand scents. It lasts about 4-5 hours at a distance, but on the skin it goes over 8. The scent is a strange mix—bittersweet, fresh, and floral, but with that underlying spice that keeps it from defining itself clearly. It’s curious that the usual powdery touch typical of the brand is missing. It evolves very little, staying the same from start to finish until the musk comes out a bit more at the end.
