I find this fragrance interesting and easy to enjoy. If you’re looking for something more complex and original, you’d be better off diving into niche perfumes; this feels almost like a ‘designer’ scent, though high-quality and priced accordingly, with superior performance. I wouldn’t highlight the citrus notes; instead, I’d point out the orange blossom, ambergris, musk, and perhaps sandalwood, with sweet and fruity nuances rather than floral ones. I suppose everyone expects more from Mr. Tauer, and he doesn’t always deliver every time. For highly trained noses looking for surprises, it might be underwhelming, but it’s an easy-to-please fragrance for all audiences.
