Amor Amor L’Eau Flamingo by Cacharel

I’m wearing it this summer and it’s perfect. A scent dominated by the cola soda note and fruity citrus notes like grapefruit. Fresh, soft and with good longevity.

My first Cacharel flanker. I was surprised that, having been launched so recently, I already found it in a retail store in the southern hemisphere. I didn’t want to resist or wait, even knowing it would be a fragrance designed to be worn in summer. My curiosity to know what this Coca-Cola cocktail made into perfume smelled like was greater. This flanker doesn’t reach the sweet fruity intensity or the strong character of its predecessor, as it has a much softer and lighter sweetness, which can be guessed from its presentation; since while it keeps the bell shape of the classic Amor Amor bottle, it doesn’t have its intense red, but a pink gradient color. Its opening is marked by citrus notes, with a soft fruity sweetness. It’s a different start, I can’t assure that it’s the exact smell of a Coca-Cola, but it’s pleasant and I don’t remember a similar smell in a perfume. Its middle phase is marked by a fresh floral accord of roses and jasmines, but which at times shows a certain reminiscence of the traditional Amor Amor, just like its final phase since it keeps an amber vanilla touch, but much more subtle and keeping the predominance of its floral accord. Another difference is that both its sillage and longevity are lower than the traditional Amor Amor, but if applied on clothes it can be felt from one day to the next. In short, it’s a fruity citrus floral that I will undoubtedly enjoy in summer.
