A lovely fragrance inspired by the traditional dagger of Oman and the symbol on its flag: the khanjar. Opens with plum and mandarin, but nothing juicy or fresh; rather, it’s dry, bitter, and medicinal, like dried plums. The overall vibe is super warm; that resinous sweetness of benzoin balances perfectly with the creaminess of iris, ylang-ylang, and vanilla. I highlight the labdanum note, which adds all the magic: exceptional complexity, sometimes woody, fruity, and ambered. It’s distinctly oriental, but unlike others, it leans more toward sweet than spicy. I recommend it if you enjoy scents like Desert Suave by Liquides Imaginaires or Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford. Sweet and deep, it’s become one of my favorites for autumn.
An elixir combining the power of plum with a base of benzoin resins, but not a fresh plum—more like a dried prune, a Christmas plum, autumnal/wintery. Well-balanced and just sweetness, with a good dose of amber in the heart. Quite linear, medium projection. Light floral touches; I don’t detect the patchouli. It might sound weird, but it reminded me of Activia cereal yogurt. Original and distinct. It’s not my favorite in the line, but I think this brand is underrated. Its magic lies in blending East and West: exquisite, refined, and elegant perfumery without falling into the overused rose+saffron combo or the stinky oud that smells like a souk and camel skins dried in the sun, which stick to your clothes and won’t come off.

Very spicy, resinous, and warm, with a powdery touch from the iris, a hint of smoke, and patchouli in the base. I detect a tobacco leaf note that isn’t listed. As the hours pass, it settles close to the skin as a vanilla-amber with sublime labdanum. It’s cozy, drier than sweet, and dominated by the resinous notes, totally unisex. Projection is moderate at first and softens later, with over 10 hours of longevity. I agree with @nedia about the Activia cereal yogurt memories at the start, though the scent itself is very pleasant. Despite liking it a lot, it didn’t quite win me over, so I’m not adding it to my collection. Scent 7/10, Longevity 10/10, Projection 7/10, Value 5.5/10, Versatility 6.5/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy again? No.
A super rich, sweet, and juicy treasure thanks to that dense, dark plum blending with an amber, woody, and balsamic base. On my skin, I don’t detect the floral notes, but the dry-down is warm, super resinous, and smoky… in short, a delicious amber. Maybe this makes you think of other perfumes, but this one is unique and unprecedented. Unisex scent, autumnal-winter vibe, with infinite longevity and great projection. I’m head over heels for it; it’s one of my favorites from the house.
