What can I say about this scent objectively? It arrived yesterday and I still can’t put the bottle down. It smells incredibly rich. According to the notes, the florals and oud are perfectly balanced; the rose doesn’t dominate, it’s subtle and elegant. The oud reminds me of Acqua di Parma, but a step down in quality. To give you an idea, it has the same aura as Jubilation XXV, though it’s not the same smell: this one is less complex but beautiful. While Jubilation XXV smells like dry grass, this is more aromatic, with that same sensual, discreet trail that exudes class, presence, and opulence. Highly recommended. It’s not the typical rose and oud; it’s much more subtle, nothing like Venigia by Merchant of Venice or Lyric Man by Amouage, where the rose is the star. Here, the feast is the whole plate. Scent 10/10, Sillage 9.5/10, Longevity 9/10. Cheers, and I hope they give this little gem a second look.
What a great fragrance. Marly isn’t trying to reinvent the wheel; they’re elevating the classics. Here, the rose-oud blend, though not new, is executed so well it feels unique. You can tell the quality: it smells like real rose, not synthetic, as if you were holding the petals on a hot day after the rain. It’s versatile, works in any weather (unless you overdo it in summer), and actually transforms better with heat, seeming different than in the cold. Totally unisex, perfect for formal, casual, or just treating yourself. Marly has many gems like this, sometimes overshadowed by their beasts (which are also top-tier). Be careful with the sprays: the scent is subtle but lasts over 12 hours, even a full day in the heat. It leaves a trail. Scent 10/10, Versatility 9/10, Longevity 10/10, Projection 10/10. Blind buy? Never with luxury perfumes.
