Descripción
Adidas Ice Dive by Adidas is a spicy aromatic fragrance for men. Launched in 2001, the nose behind this composition is Philippe Bousseton. The top notes reveal mint, grapefruit, lavender, bergamot, yuzu, tangerine, kiwi, and anise; the heart unfolds with geranium, sandalwood, and patchouli; while the base notes close the interpretation with pepper, ambergris, musk, tonka bean, and vanilla.

Ice Dive is super fresh, full of energy and vitality; ideal for daytime and, of course, sports, even contact sports (like the rest of the Adidas line). I detect top notes of lavender, kiwi, mint, and anise; middle notes bring in geranium, and the base features pepper and amber, which combine to give a particular eau de toilette result, so it’s not a typical generic perfume. A plus is that it pairs well with the Adidas Ice Dive deodorant, which you can buy alongside other items at the supermarket without needing a specialty store. Note that the lavender isn’t just an intense note; it also defines the bottle’s color.
Ice Dive is a very fresh fragrance, full of vitality and energy. In my opinion, it’s ideal for daytime use and, of course, for sports, even contact sports (like all the Adidas line). I perceive top notes of lavender, kiwi, mint, and anise; middle notes of geranium; and base notes of pepper and amber, which combined give this particular eau de toilette, so Ice Dive isn’t a typical generic perfume. An advantage is that it’s combinable with the Adidas Ice Dive deodorant, which can be bought together at the supermarket without going to a specialty store. Note that the lavender isn’t just a more intense note, but visually also defines the color of the bottle.
Exclusive for sports or going to the gym, aquatic and energizing with hints of mint and grapefruit. It doesn’t last long on the skin, but for its intended purpose, its longevity and projection are fine. Its price ranges between $8 and $15, a good option for a quick fix or to keep in the car. I give it a 7/10.
Just a cologne, another one of the bunch. Smells good, fresh, and very citrusy. It doesn’t last long, has no projection, and stays close to the skin for about 3-4 hours. You can use a lot of it without it being annoying. It’s something to keep by the front door to use when going out for errands. For $4 for 100ml, you can’t ask for more.
Good cologne for the price: fresh, masculine, and versatile. It doesn’t last long, but the scent is great—ideal for right after a shower or for sports, a walk, errands, the beach, or the pool, etc.
Good cologne for the price: fresh, masculine, and versatile. It doesn’t last long but smells great. Ideal for getting out of the shower, working out, taking a walk, running errands, the beach, or the pool.
Very fresh fragrance, powerful opening with grapefruit and mint. Within a few minutes it dries down and becomes slightly sweeter (I’m not sure if it’s ambergris, vanilla, tonka bean, or a combination), without becoming sweet or heavy. It’s totally ‘sport,’ very easy to like (but not generic), versatile, and I use it in any season without it feeling out of place (except for night outings due to its short longevity). In terms of performance, designed for sports, I have no complaints: on skin it lasts a few hours and longer on clothes. I also use it daily and it performs well. Its low price stands out: I usually get it online for less than $5 for the 100ml bottle, which lasts quite a while. In short, I recommend buying it (even blind) to lovers of these aromas; hard to regret. Don’t let the price fool you. Best regards.
Smells super fresh at first with a blast of grapefruit and mint, but quickly softens into a slightly sweet scent that isn’t cloying or heavy. It’s the kind of ‘sport’ fragrance that suits everyone, though it’s not generic. I use it year-round and it fits anywhere, maybe except going out at night since it fades fast. For performance, considering it’s meant for workouts, I have no complaints: it lasts a few hours on skin and longer on clothes. I’ve also worn it daily and it’s perfect. The best part is the price; I found 100ml online for under €5, and it lasts quite a while. In short, I recommend buying it blind if you like these scents; you’re unlikely to regret it, and don’t let the low cost fool you. Cheers.
It’s a citrus fragrance, very citrusy. It has no sillage and stays close to the skin. If you do the exercise of applying it to your wrist and smelling it close to the skin to see how it evolves, you’ll notice mint, grapefruit, and kiwi. It’s fresh, but a summery fresh kind. The name ‘Ice Dive’ gives the impression of a cold freshness, and the mint provides that first impression, but the citrus almost envelops the rest. Except for that exercise, many notes aren’t easily perceived in the scarce sillage. Since it’s so commonly used for sports, it’s a fragrance for specific moments: I spray it before heading to the gym and it works well during the activity; after 2-3 hours, it becomes undetectable. Spraying it in the morning to go to the gym in the afternoon isn’t the best idea. Finally, the price is moderate to low, quite good for what you get.
It’s cheap and has a soft scent; a bit of alcohol at first, but almost nothing. It’s moderate, sweeter, and not heavy—fresh and pleasant. I’ve received compliments. Although it doesn’t have impressive notes, its longevity is a maximum of about 3 hours. I recommend it for men and women: if you want something simple, clean, soft, and fresh (sweet), it’s a great idea to have it around.
My favorite Adidas fragrance out of the three I know… It’s a spectacular accord based on white musk, very much in the style of the classic Natura Homme. It features a sweet fruity note of kiwi and something akin to ambergris, with bitter-sweet touches reminiscent of shaving cream or high-quality gel. On the other hand, it has an inherent sweet sweat sensation typical of white musk: clean but with that sweet twist. If you’re worried, relax, it’s very easy to wear and feels clean overall. It’s my second bottle, excellent price, medium longevity of 4 to 5 hours with a little over-application. Lots of compliments.
Very good fragrance, though the longevity is short; you can reapply and it lasts a bit longer. It leaves you feeling satisfied, and the best part is the price—you can have several for daily use. I used to love the Adidas Team, Action, and Game Spirit scents; it’s a pity they discontinued them, though I keep the last one as a memento and part of my collection.
No more to say, this is the gym perfume for those who don’t need eternal longevity, just a clean scent to take everywhere. The price is so low you’ll find yourself applying it multiple times without thinking twice.
I have the new version with the side-grip bottle. Ice Dive doesn’t last long and has weak projection, but I love the scent. 4/10.
This Adidas was my first fragrance; it’s not for every age or occasion. It’s meant for after a shower to keep that freshness for about two hours, either staying home or heading to the gym. It’s sporty but lasts way too little. For a fresh scent, it’s slightly sweet; I’d say it’s best for under 20s. After that age, it smells like an adult who doesn’t accept their age yet. If you’re on a tight budget, it’s a good buy since it performs well even when overapplied. I have fond memories of it, cheers.
I have the new version with the bottle and side grips. This Ice Dive doesn’t last long and has weak projection, but I really like the scent. I love it. 4/10.
Be careful with this fragrance because its opening is dangerously similar to Bleu de Chanel EDT. Many consider the Chanel version the cornerstone of blue fragrances (I’m not included in that group). The fact is that Adidas Ice Dive hit the market in 2001, while Bleu EDT came out in 2010. Could Jacques Polge have been inspired by this Adidas scent when creating what might be his most popular work?
For the price, it’s great for the gym or right after a shower; I’ve even received compliments wearing it.
I’m not sure if it’s the batch or the fragrance itself, but it’s very soft, barely lasting or leaving a trail; extremely soft, and I’m not speaking generally but compared to other Adidas fragrances. I also own Team Force, which has better power. Curiously, I have a perfume in my closet that smells exactly the same: Perry Ellis Black for Him, but without as much punch.
Not sure if it’s the batch or just the fragrance, but it’s extremely soft, barely lasts, and leaves no sillage. It’s super soft, not just in general but compared to other Adidas fragrances. I also own Team Force, which has better projection. Curiously, I have a Perry Ellis Black for Him in my cabinet that smells exactly the same, just without the same power.
Excellent perfume.
I’ve used it a lot, and yes, it’s a fragrance for staying fresh or using during sports or after the gym. Its longevity and sillage are very poor, but for the price, it seems reasonable, especially considering the Adidas segment. Obviously, it’s not meant for a social outing or formal event; I wouldn’t buy it again, but honestly, I don’t consider it bad, just has a very specific use.
It has a gray, smoky scent, a bit musty, nothing fresh.
Reminds me of my teenage years, haha. Good for the moment, but nothing lasting.
It’s pure sport cologne; smells just like its shampoo straight out of the shower. I use it to scent rooms because if I wear it on myself, I have to spray it 20 times, and after three hours, there’s no scent left. It’s more for indoors and staying at home.
