Descripción

Hugo Energise by Hugo Boss is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2005, this composition was created by perfumer Claude Dir. The opening bursts with a vibrant explosion of pink pepper, lemon, kumquat, pineapple leaves, mint, mandarin, and cardamom. The heart reveals a harmonious blend of floral and spicy notes featuring juniper, jasmine, nutmeg, statice, freesia, and cilantro. The trail settles into a warm, structured base of leather, vanilla, and teakwood.

  • This smells like the classic Hugo, an incredibly rich woody aroma. I recommend it to death; those who don’t know it should give it a try and won’t regret it.

  • Wow, strange that a fragrance with a long history has no reviews. I tried it and loved it; it’s just like my dad’s, one of our favorites for everyday wear. Overall, it’s citrusy: tangerine, lemon, orange, and a hint of pineapple. If I described it all, it’s sweet grapefruit with black pepper and nutmeg. I don’t detect leather, woods, or vanilla, just a tiny, well-made floral note that’s almost imperceptible in that citrus blend and definitely not feminine. Note: try it occasionally; it might become your daily favorite, recommended for any age.

  • I bought it because it won me over at first and it smells great, but after a while, I just wanted it to end. The trail is heavy, and eventually, you get tired of the smell; it’s too much and becomes cloying over time.

  • I got it as a gift and used it until the bottle was empty. It’s the only Hugo Boss fragrance I like. I think it’s super versatile. At a good price, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again. Scent 8/10, versatility 10/10, trail 8/10, longevity 6/10.

  • I got it as a gift and used it down to the last drop; it’s the only Hugo Boss fragrance I’ve liked. I think it’s super versatile. At a good price, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again. Scent 8/10, versatility 10/10, trail 8/10, longevity 6/10.

The scent is very classic, like Hugo Boss Sport and Casual, but the longevity on my skin is minimal: 30 minutes to maybe two hours—I almost had to shower to get rid of it. The sillage is weak. I wouldn’t recommend it. I’ll finish what I have, but I won’t be buying this fragrance again.

  • Sounds like the classic Hugo Boss sporty and casual, but on my skin it barely lasts 30 minutes, sometimes even less, and I almost showered to get rid of it. The trail is weak; I wouldn’t recommend it. I’ll finish the bottle but won’t be buying it again.

  • Cosmico Jupiter

Sporty scent with an incense vibe. The trail is very soft, so you have to apply it generously, but paradoxically, it lasts forever on clothes. It’s addictive, yes 🙂

I love the citrus, nutmeg, and pepper that define it; it’s a total hit despite that slightly synthetic touch. Super versatile for any weather or occasion. Lasted 6 hours on skin and 2 on clothes. If you’re looking for something daily, it’s worth it—giving it a 7/10.

  • eemontenegroa

Delicious! What I love most is that it’s not a common fragrance—at least here in Guatemala, you rarely smell it or see anyone wearing it. It’s also not something you’ll find in local replica shops, since it’s an unknown scent that people don’t recognize or seek out. But what a great fragrance!

Delicious. The best part is that it’s uncommon; here in Guatemala, you rarely smell it or see someone wearing it. Perfume copiers don’t even try to imitate it because, as it’s not a common scent, people don’t know it and don’t look for it. But what a great fragrance!

  • rafajurado

I had it five years ago: soft, fresh with a hint of orange, but not very long-lasting. Perfect for daily wear.

  • I love it. It’s my favorite for daytime. It has great sillage and longevity. Especially perfect for the summery weather in Cuba.

  • I had it in 2014 and loved it so much, but the Echo won’t last because it doesn’t hold up. Those who have it can attest to that. A shame, since it’s truly an exceptional and well-crafted scent.

  • Excellent scent, bordering on perfection. It draws in female sighs by the dozen. If you use it, spray it on your clothes because it lasts forever there; a garment stored away for a month still smelled amazing. I absolutely love it, a 10 for Hugo Boss.

  • Excellent scent, almost perfect. It attracts female sighs by the dozens. If you’re going to wear it, spray it on your clothes because it lasts forever; I had a shirt stored away for a month, put it on again, and to my surprise, the fragrance was still there. Personally, I absolutely love it. A 10/10 for HB.

  • Manuel Cornejo

An exquisite, fresh, and masculine fragrance. At first, it projects a youthful citrus note that gives energy, and around an hour later, the heart and base notes take over, creating a spiced atmosphere with a slight leather touch. It lasts about 7 hours or more. The trail is about 1 meter; for the price, it feels much more expensive. Totally recommended if you like sweet but not cloying citrus—a subtle, spiced, and woody citrus.

  • Manuel Cornejo

An exquisite, fresh, and masculine perfume. At first, a youthful citrus note dominates, giving it vitality; around an hour later, the heart and base notes emerge, creating a spiced atmosphere with a light leather touch. It lasts about 7 hours or more. The trail is roughly a meter long. It feels expensive for the price, but totally recommended if you like sweet but not cloying citrus, subtle, spicy, and woody notes.

  • My favorite perfume. What captivates me most is that it’s interesting, a harmony of scents. It’s fresh like a cologne, but the spicy notes electrify it. Sometimes it gives me goosebumps. It’s subtle and over time it leans sweet without being cloying. I’m surprised this line isn’t talked about more; perhaps because the ones that try to grab attention get more comments than those that express something real.

  • My favorite fragrance. What captivates me most is that it’s interesting, a harmony of scents. It’s fresh like a cologne, and the spicy notes just electrify it. It makes the skin prickle; it’s understated and tends to become sweeter over time, but never cloying. I’m surprised this line isn’t talked about more; perhaps the most discussed ones are those trying to grab attention but lacking depth and expression, focusing only on the first impression.

  • The best fragrance I’ve tried from Hugo Boss: fresh and masculine. What a pity it’s no longer available.

  • I tried it years ago and the aroma was exquisite, but it didn’t last at all, no matter how much I applied. Eventually, I got tired of it and I don’t think I’d buy it again.

  • Gentil vagabond

This scent is unique, the best Hugo Boss has to offer. If you love compliments, this is it for summer or the gym. They say it’s discontinued, but if you can find it, it’s an absolute must-buy.

  • It’s a shame that such delicious fragrances like this don’t last more than three hours on the skin. I know countless cases. What a waste of scent. 😭

  • Carlos Ivovic

Amazing perfume with a spicy aroma. You can smell the pepper at first and it lingers subtly throughout the dry down. In my case, it adheres well to the skin with good longevity. Although perfumes go out of style, this is a classic worth buying again. Well-made by BOSS. I haven’t found anything like it until today.

  • Hugo Energize is fruity, aromatic, and musky. The opening is fresh and citrusy, with spicy notes that give it depth. After a few hours, it settles into a woody base with fresh aromatic notes that remind me of Y by YSL. It’s clearly daytime, meant to bring energy thanks to its freshness. Perfect for spring and summer, casual outings, school, nothing formal. Longevity was 7 hours on me, but it stays close to the skin after half an hour. Not bad if you can get it at a good price, though there are alternatives that outperform it, likely due to reformulations.

  • Delicious scent that I used for several years and will buy again. Everyone loved it. It didn’t last long, but what perfume lasts these days? Plus, at the price, you can apply a lot, and it did last a bit longer on clothes.

  • Polperfumeman

Hugo Energize: masculine, fruity, and everyday. I have mixed feelings. It’s a spectacular and rich scent, typical of fragrances that are no longer used, but it’s limited by two factors: it’s not distinctive enough in today’s unique market, and the longevity for the price. If it lasted more than three hours on the skin, it would be one of the best value-for-money options. For now, it’s for daily wear. Ideal for brand followers or anyone seeking a daily designer scent.

  • For those looking for this fragrance because it’s discontinued, I recommend dupes: European perfumes, Zenz, and even Fraiche. They have an incredibly similar DNA.

  • My favorite fragrance; I still find it in some stores with old stock. Maybe I’m just stuck on a memory. 10/10.

  • What a marvel! 🔥❤️ My skin loves this Hugo Boss house. It was one of the perfumes that got me the most compliments: sweet, summery, flirty, and youthful. What a shame it’s discontinued. 10/10.

  • This perfume sparked my obsession with smelling good; it’s a rich fragrance. Now at 34, it wouldn’t make sense to buy it because it’s more for younger people, pure nostalgia. I recommend it 100%.

  • Very cheerful and fruity, an original and exquisite blend. The only downside is that it doesn’t last or project well; if the first 20 minutes lasted two hours, it would be spectacular. Still, for $25 for a 75ml bottle, I recommend it.
