It’s a truly unisex perfume. At first, it’s very woody, but after 20 minutes, the vanilla kicks in and balances everything out. It has a spicy, peppery note that I love. It’s the first woody perfume I’ve bought since I usually go for sweeter scents, but I was craving something like this in my collection. It’s quite soft and pleasant, never overpowering. It reminds me a bit of Armani Code for Men, but I feel it’s sweeter and more subtle. Also, it has much less projection.

It’s a pink and oud blend. At first, it comes out citrusy, spiced, and slightly woody, but within minutes, a fresh, prominent rose dominates and lasts throughout the fragrance. Paired with woods (if there’s oud, it’s very well-behaved), it gradually sweetens with tonka bean, ending with a subtle vanilla touch. It’s very good, perfect for daytime, spring, and autumn, elegant, with a sillage of about a meter for almost two hours. It lasted 7 hours on my skin. I’m not sure where they got the idea for ‘Across the Ocean’; it’s a subtle and elegant pink-oud blend. Totally unisex.

From the very first moment, it smells like something I already know. I quickly realized it’s like the Erba Pura by Xerjoff in its dry-down phase. My nose skips the fruity opening and goes straight to a powerful musky base with vanilla. It performs well, with a noticeable trail for the first two hours and moderate projection afterward, lasting 9-10 hours on my skin. It’s a bit less intense than the Xerjoff but at almost half the price. Scent: 8.5/10, Longevity: 9.5/10, Sillage: 7.5/10, Value: 8/10, Packaging: 9/10. Would I buy it again? No, I haven’t purchased it.
