The opening is distinctly citrusy, with an aroma of dried fruit (grapefruit, orange, lemon…). The fragrance suggests bitter drinks like Negroni, or orange liqueurs (like Cointreau). You feel the contribution of the pepper and cardamom in a very pleasant way. Recommended? Yes. Blind buy? No, unless you like boozy citrus.
A perfume that has nothing similar to anything I’ve smelled before; really elegant, it makes an impact and commands presence. The spicy, aromatic touch draws a lot of attention (I’m not a fan of perfumes with pepper), but the pepper raw material used here is on another level and excellent: it doesn’t bother, doesn’t overwhelm, isn’t sharp, but rather supports the composition perfectly. Then the Negroni gives the perfume character and adds a little “alcoholic” twist; the rest of the notes round out the scent perfectly. Just a couple of sprays are enough for more than 10 hours on skin, easily. It could be an everyday perfume, but you leave a trail wherever you go. Highly recommended.
It’s a classic-style perfume with a slightly bitter opening that will quickly remind you of the red bitters in the famous Negroni cocktail. As it evolves, the bitterness goes down and a really unique blend of spicy notes starts to take center stage—one I don’t remember smelling in other perfumes—as well as a citrus note like orange liqueur that reminds me of Cointreau, or orange peel directly. Anyway, I recommend it; it’s really good and I don’t remember trying anything like it! I’d say it’s ideal for anyone looking for a signature perfume with a lot of evolution, one that culminates in a dark, spiced citrus that is anything but innocent or generic, and very elegant.
