Hi friends, I just picked up this fragrance and was blown away because it was a quick blind buy as a gift and I absolutely loved it. Even though it’s from the catalog, it smells great; I just sprayed it on my neck and it lasted almost 7 hours on my skin. I got several compliments from girls while wearing it. To me, it smells almost exactly like Bleu de Chanel, so I recommend it: don’t let the catalog status fool you; I’ve used designer brands that evaporate instantly. Great job, Avon!
I’m not sure if I’m in love with it, but it definitely appeals to athletes and youth. It smells like old, dehydrated grapefruit with no juice left. Compared to Natura’s Mr. N, which is citrusy, sharp, and has an adult vetiver vibe, this ‘Avon 300 km gamer’ is that withered, musty grapefruit mixed with spices and a touch of animalic, hormonal teenage sweat. The dry-down is ordinary, typical of cheap Avon and Canon perfumes, lasting 4-5 hours with low projection. It’s ideal for post-shower after a workout or heading to the beach, nothing for the office or formal events. Maybe it works to mask the smell of B-vitamins from bodybuilders who burp? That dirty, spicy note might awaken something in a girl, whether excitement or rejection. Price: super cheap, around $5 in Argentina. Conclusion: it doesn’t smell bad, it’s cheap, youthful, and sporty, and maybe it has a conquering effect, though that’s pure speculation. Is it worth it? Yes, for the price, but I’d go with Mr. N, which is better even if it costs more.
