I ordered this based on the notes, but it turned out badly. It smells like rotten berries.
SMELL: GOOD, PROJECTILE: POOR, LONGEVITY: POOR, QUALITY: POOR, BLIND BUY: YES. IT’S BOTH EXPENSIVE AND CHEAP, BUT… 5.5/10. IT SMELLS GREAT, BUT THE PERFORMANCE IS TERRIBLE. FOR THE PRICE, IT’S WORTH IT FOR DAILY ROTATION OR FOR HOME USE.
Longevity and sillage are average, but the price is very attractive, and the bottle and presentation are eye-catching. It’s a good perfume, but… In my opinion, it’s a clone of Xeryus Rouge. Honestly, it looks like an exact copy, except this Fred Hayman version is cheaper and less potent. If you already own the Givenchy one, it’s like buying a duplicate. At first, I thought it was just in my head, so I applied one on each wrist, and if they’re not identical, they’re very similar. What I don’t understand, and sometimes makes me doubt, is the accuracy of the note descriptions by brands; if you compare the notes of the two perfumes I’m talking about, they supposedly have nothing in common… not much more to add.
