It’s like a winter version of Viva La Juicy: the same sweetness but for the cold, very good.
Strong, perfect for open spaces and cold seasons. I’d recommend it for women over 30. 7 out of 10.
Strong perfume, perfect for open spaces and cold weather. I’d recommend it for women over 30. 7/10.
I consider it strong, sweet, and woody. It’s one of my favorites; it’s been with me since my teens and can’t be missing from my collection. I recommend it; it’s more for night, but if you want to wear it during the day, go for it! People always ask what I’m wearing, and I just say I’m from Mexico. My store told me they were going to discontinue it, so if you have it, don’t hesitate. I’m going to buy it online.
Intense, characterful, and nothing common. You either love it or hate it. A good alternative for winter.
I received it as a gift from my parents; it’s very intense and sweet. I used to wear it almost exclusively at night because it was too overwhelming during the day. Nowadays, I don’t understand how someone at 23 would wear something so strong. It’s pretty, but very sweet.
Perfumes from the 80s and early 90s were bold, characterful, and a bit narcotic. All that faded with the aquatic, relaxed vibe of the 90s. 273 Rodeo is a prime example of that era when excess was in style and crossing the line wasn’t a sin. It smells like a powerful burst of peach and nectarine with white flowers, soft woods, and amber. It’s strident but controlled, with a spicy touch that makes it interesting. I liked it, though I know it’s not for every day.
It’s very intense, with a totally fruity opening where the peach stands out. After half an hour, white flowers and ylang-ylang with amber do their magic, then pink pepper makes it spicy, and finally, a wonderful sandalwood emerges. It embodies the 80s: ostentatious, excessive, but incredibly rich. Ideal for open spaces in the cold and at night because its projection and longevity are beastly. 273 Drive, a beautiful perfume at a low cost.
It’s very intense. At first, it smells like pure peach, then after half an hour, white flowers and ylang-ylang with amber do their magic. Later, pink pepper makes it spicy, and finally, when skin tames it, a gorgeous sandalwood emerges. It embodies the 80s: ostentatious, excessive, but incredibly rich. Perfect for open spaces in the cold and at night because its projection is beastly. 273 Rodeo Drive, a luxury at a low price.
I loved it madly in high school and now I’m craving to get it back. I hope it’s the same scent that brings back so many memories: strong, spicy, and vanilla, with brutal longevity.
It’s an 80s classic, super sweet and potent. Not everyone can handle it; it’s for nighttime wear in winter. The trail is beastly and lasts about 8 hours.
Its opening is a delight: clean neroli with a touch of pollen, then fresh and creamy gardenia. I love its entire development and it lasts for many hours. Excellent quality and price, it’s my favorite.
One of my favorites and a staple. It has to be there. I’ve been using it since my 20s and never stopped. Gardenia and neroli dominate; sandalwood and peach arrive enveloping at first, then fade and reappear in waves. I prefer using it at night. It’s not for every skin type or nose; everyone lives their own notes and evolutions.
The opening is a delight: clean nard with a touch of pollen, followed by fresh and creamy gardenia. I love its entire development, and it lasts for many hours. Excellent quality and price. My favorite.
An unforgettable character and presence. It’s always part of my collection.
I absolutely loved it 20 years after trying it once. Back then, my sense of smell wasn’t very trained, so I discarded it. But out of curiosity, I tried it again and fell in love: it has that narcotic nard scent, but sweet—not like modern caramels, rather fruity and floral. It feels like the younger sister of the classic Carolina Herrera: at first, it’s very similar, perhaps due to the nard, but softened. The Carolina version is hard, intense, and overwhelming; this is the sweet, youthful, and uncomplicated take. Although perfumes don’t have an age, I recommend it for 25+ or those who enjoy intense, elegant, yet casual scents.
I loved it 20 years after trying and discarding it for not having a trained nose for intense scents. Now, out of curiosity, I’ve loved that narcotic neroli scent, sweet but not caramel-like, rather fruity and floral. It seems like the younger sister of the Carolina Herrera classic: this is the sweet, youthful, uncomplicated version, while the other is hard and aggressive. I recommend it for 25+ or those who like elegant, intense, and casual aromas.
I find it sweet and bold, reminiscent of Givenchy’s Amarige. It never goes out of style and makes people ask who’s wearing it. The neroli is there elegantly. Be careful when spraying because it’s potent, but then that neroli and sweet scent falls in love with you. Balanced, elegant, perfect for a romantic night or to turn heads. To remember a key moment, I’d use 273 Rodeo Drive.
A whole experience, I didn’t expect so much. Seeing it in the perfume shop, I thought it wouldn’t sell well, but smelling it, I knew it was vintage, floral, and powdery, with a faint sweet peach note and sandalwood always present. Its projection is incredible, like a little trail that distills good scent at a low cost.
Oh my! I love it, it’s totally 90s for happy, intense souls. It’s identical to the old Revlon Outrageous shampoo. Nothing shy: clean neroli, sweet and spicy peaches, and wood announce your arrival with a smile. I wear it almost all year round, except during intense heat. I’m a fan.
Oh my! 😍 I absolutely love it! It’s pure 90s vibes, made for happy and intense souls. It smells exactly like that discontinued Revlon shampoo called Outrageous. Nothing shy or discreet here: neroli, sweet apricots, and spaced-out wood notes announce your arrival. If you’re a match, you’ll come with a huge smile because it’ll last all day, maybe with a Technotronic song stuck in your head. I wear it almost year-round, except during intense heat. I’m a huge fan.
A little gem I bought out of curiosity looking for something vintage and cheap, and I nailed the purchase. It’s sweet, fruity, floral, woody, and spicy; in winter, all its potential shines. It has a certain vibe similar to Lancôme’s Tresor, though this one is less sweet and fruity.
It’s gorgeous. Since I’m new to perfumes and even heavy scents used to make me dizzy, I tried this blind and fell in love at first sight. On my skin, it becomes powdery and fresh, but it’s for cold climates; in the heat, the trail is strong and can be overwhelming. I’d keep it for rainy days or nights in my hot hometown.
It’s insane, a 90s classic that screams elegance and passion. Opens with neroli, ylang-ylang, peaches, vetiver, and cedar; then sandalwood and gardenia soften it with plums, jasmine, and amber. Clean, timeless, perfect for the office or fresh environments. Best in winter and at night. Scent: 9/10 Sillage: 8/10 Longevity: 8/10 Price: 10/10 Would I buy again: ALWAYS
It’s insane! An unforgettable perfume, a 90s classic that blends elegance, glamour, and passion. It’s a party: opening notes of neroli, ylang-ylang, apricots, vetiver, and cedar; the heart features sandalwood and gardenia, maturing softly into plum, jasmine, and amber. A vintage scent that radiates cleanliness and timeless elegance, perfect for the office and fresh environments. Best worn in winter and at night. Fragrance: 9/10 Sillage: 8/10 Longevity: 8/10 Value: 10/10 Would I buy it again?: ALWAYS.
It’s a perfume water that perfectly summarizes ’80s aromas. It’s a classic that crosses borders with wide potency and longevity. On my skin, it lasts more than 10 hours. I detect a fruity opening and very ambered flowers; in the dry-down, warm spices stand out. It’s still available in Mexico at an excellent price. It’s worth it if you like classics like Trésor or Poême by Lancôme. Ideal for autumn and winter; I wouldn’t use it in spring. It’s one of my favorites from my teenage years.
I noticed it through its eye-catching box in perfumeries, and curiosity got the better of me. Turns out it was launched in my birth year, and I think everyone should have a perfume from their birth year. In my case, 1989; today my husband gifted it to me, and we hadn’t even left the store when I rushed to open it. Wow! I was fascinated by a tremendous jewel I bought blind without testing it. My husband said it smelled beautiful, and indeed, it’s exquisite: a creamy floral with fruity touches, sparkling, and very coquettish. It’s not cloying, not heavy, and has good projection; everyone likes it. Whether you’re a vintage lover or not, you’ll love it.
After reading the reviews, I decided to buy it looking for that vintage style, longevity, and sillage, which are said to be a jewel. I bought it from a reputable seller, and everything was fine until I tried it. Delicious: I love neroli and feel it dominates along with plum. I was happy, but the scent faded after 2 hours. The promised bomb of longevity and sillage wasn’t there, even though I bought it from a recognized place. Disappointing in that aspect; I don’t know if it’s my skin, if it was reformulated, or if the potency was reduced. I tried again, and the same thing happened: after 2 hours, I had to reapply because it faded quickly. I wanted to fill my house with it, but only my family noticed it when they got close, something light and nice. The perfume is delicious, a classic, and a jewel, but something is off with the longevity.
I own this perfume, and the only thing I liked was the packaging. I love vintage perfumes, but this one didn’t suit me; the scent is tiring to me. I find it boring; only the apricot stands out, and I can’t detect the other flowers or woods, which are what I enjoy most. For me, it’s a resounding NO.
I totally agree with Erika Piñón: it smells exactly like the Outrageous shampoo. On my skin, it has excellent longevity of 8 hours.
I’d describe it as coquettish. It’s quite versatile, but not for daily use. The standout note is apricot; if you love this fruit, try it! I don’t usually love fruits in perfumes, but this one is so iconic: its box, shape, name, and aesthetic are very Rodeo Drive, old-school La La Land style. I love it! Sometimes, when I don’t know what to wear, I put it on and it boosts my confidence. It suits coquettish and cheerful personalities of any age. It lacks those old, dizzying notes; it’s very 90s fruity. Apricot dominates; it’s not gourmand, but rather apricots with pit and skin in syrup or preserves. It smells quite clean, like pleasant soap or shampoo. I like it a lot and think it’s a great gift. The box and style are very chic. I wish I appreciated the flowers more throughout the development, but I only catch them in the opening.
It’s one of the perfumes that has complimented me the most. I’ve bought many bottles over the years, and today, in 2025, it’s hard to find, so I keep a quarter bottle like a treasure.
My mother’s perfume of a lifetime. It will always make me smell like her: imposing yet full of great humor, just like the fragrance itself: complex, long-lasting, soft, and very sensual.
It finally joined my collection after 4 years and lived up to my expectations. Explosive opening: strong neroli with sharp peach and apricot notes, perfect only for lovers of 90s fruity scents. It dries down to a sweetened, ambered gardenia, enhanced by the initial fruits and sandalwood. It’s linear: starts sharp and ends sweet-floral. Great projection (almost 5 meters) and lasts over 12 hours. It’s a middle ground between Poême and classic Carolina Herrera, but with more fruit sweetness. Warning: it’s potent, so moderate your sprays to avoid overwhelming. Ideal for autumn afternoons or cool spring days; its warmth doesn’t work in summer, harsh winters, or humid climates. Fun fact: this was Verónica Castro’s perfume during her visit to Argentina on Mirtha Legrand’s show, where she praised it highly.
Without a doubt, it smells like the 80s-90s, period. It’s my mandatory vintage perfume, though it’s getting harder to find. My dad gifted it to me in my teens, and it accompanied me through every dance club night in the 90s. I love its blend of flowers, fruits, spices, and that powdery touch. Totally top for winter nights.
