Maybe the best in the series, but the resale price is ridiculous. Smells modern and characterful, very masculine and spicy. Starts fresh with citrus, lavender, and rosemary, moves into a creamy, mysterious heart, and finishes with a weird baking soda note. The magic lies in that licorice illusion the blend creates. Lasts 6-7 hours, noticeable at first. A timeless Gianni classic, though personally it doesn’t smell like Bvlgari Black.
This is the Versace Exotic I know, sophisticated and sweet. It’s practically a Bvlgari Black but sweet, one of my favorites from the house. If not, MY FAVORITE. The opening is a rare mix of Rive Gauche and Black but sweet. Masterpiece, magnificent, etc.

Ever since I found out they were discontinuing it and snagged two bottles at an old US perfumerie, I didn’t hesitate to buy and store them like gold. Versace Black Jeans brings back childhood memories of family gatherings at my grandparents’ house. It smells similar to my uncle’s Caesars Man World trail. It’s a classic reflecting a modern future. It’s heartbreaking that they pulled it now, when Black Jeans-style fragrances are getting praise; a cruel decision. Starts with acidic lime-lemon and spicy ginger, then sweetens with lavender and very fresh green tints. Then come floral touches (rose/carnation) making it unisex, a floral-herbal ship without feeling old. As it settles, the magic: iris and leather, like a freshly opened expensive tuxedo. Overflowing with elegance. Finally, cedar, vetiver, and nutmeg wood it and powdery. Dense, deep, and mysterious. Not versatile, it’s for enjoying in intimacy with a good wine or cigar. Lasts 8 hours. The matte black bottle with silver cap gives seriousness. It’s sober, invites reflection, and life changes. Maybe that’s the mysticism; it holds historical drama and sadly we pay the price of not being able to enjoy it today, when it would be highly valued for setting trends.
Excellent longevity, powdery scent, likely due to the iris. At first, it reminds me of Bvlgari Black, then it seems like a mix of two Versace fragrances: Blue Jeans from the same collection and The Dreamer. The trail is also good.

Saffron bomb, intense and masculine. When it hits the heart, it softens a bit with sweetness, but still keeps that delicious saffron kick. Perfect for night. It’s flawless and I haven’t found anything that resembles or comes close to it. It drives me crazy because it’s unique. Cheers to everyone.
