Review of Cafe-Cafe Puro by Cafe Parfums. It will be brief since the esteemed previous reviewer @jerry7474 described it perfectly and adding more would be redundant. Nevertheless, I will do my review. The fragrance is pleasant and its longevity is moderate to low, its opening is boozy and somewhat confusing. Later, once it calms down and settles, one perceives a combination of rich coffee and citrus with a spicy background. Economical fragrance in my country (Rep. Argentina) and its use can be both formal and informal. The intermediate seasons are ideal for wearing it, being daytime par excellence. Regards.

2002-2020 and so few reviews??? It must be the best kept secret in perfumery; otherwise, it cannot be understood… or is it for an audience that knew and missed the CREATIONS of the 80s/90s?, or are we too snobbish?. Whatever the reason, THIS is what is asked of the big houses and yet, in most cases, they keep disappointing. Until now, I had never tried any perfume from this brand; being totally objective: the name, the logo, the designs of their bottles and packaging are not the most attractive; this bottle is quite ugly and uncomfortable (very thin at the top and it seems that if you do not hold it well it will fall), but there is a fundamental factor these days which is price, and searching and reading reviews here and there helped me decide on this Café-Café Puro. The opening is very alcoholic but that flaw disappears after ten seconds, there it gives way to the fruity note of pear leaf, but well below (to my nose) southernwood and grapefruit; after ten/fifteen minutes comes the second spicy and floral phase with predominance of nutmeg and cardamom over sandalwood and geranium, the latter gives it a powdery warmth but not at all feminine and then comes the longest lasting sweet stage of amber and musk; everything is very well done here, even for a moment I thought I felt a coffee note (it intrigues me that NONE of its perfumes has this note), but it must be because of my habit of adding cardamom to it, I suppose. It shares several notes with Globe by Rochas, another marvel of the 90s and it is very similar to it in its middle and final stages. Scent: 10 Longevity: 10 Sillage: 8 (depends on climate and obviously how much you apply) Price: 10

Musky, floral woody: Tremendous family!! I was gifted, with a purchase, a miniature bottle of this perfume and honestly, I thought about giving it away or leaving it aside, but no… I took it to review, which I love to do. And I got a pleasant surprise. It opens with a fruity aroma, it seemed like banana, but it was actually pear, mixed with green and barely citrus notes… Cardamom takes over the blend, taking on a slightly sweet aromatic character and always with a musky, fresh-out-of-the-shower base. Geranium is perceived perfectly, giving it elegance and the most surprising thing about the fragrance is the smoky sandalwood that comes across like incense… It closes with a measured sweetness of fruity amber leaving a very pleasant aromatic feeling on the skin. I recommend it

Café-Puro by Café Parfums: Alcoholic and synthetic opening, but after about 5 minutes this scent turns as its name well states into a creamy and frothy coffee ideal for cold climates. The strange thing is that it does not contain a coffee note…. but I get the impression that it must contain some bean of it. Comforting and attractive scent that conveys warmth without being cloying. Extraordinary combination of herbal, fruity, citrus and even amber that seem like they are all cousins and get along very well. The best part of this scent is without doubt its drydown which is truly beautiful. It conveys comfort that makes you enjoy it with every sniff, I wish it projected more. Great option for preferably cold climates, whether for a date or a gathering with friends. Fantastic fragrance. I recommend over-applying to enjoy its beauty. Scent: 9.0 Projection: moderate to weak. Longevity: 6 hours. Recommended.

It comes off a bit alcoholic and synthetic at first, but within five minutes, it’s that creamy, foamy coffee it promises, though strangely, it doesn’t smell like real coffee—more like it has some grain in it. It’s comforting, warm, and not cloying. I love how the herbal, fruity, and amber notes blend; they’re all cousins that get along well. The best part is its dry-down: beautiful and comfortable. I wish it projected more, but it’s fantastic for cold days, dates, or meetings. Just apply and enjoy!

Fantastic! An exquisite fruity aroma of ripe pear, with a smoky floral touch and that green freshness running through the entire fragrance, probably from the sandalwood. It has many similarities to La Martina Tierra del Fuego. Café Puro meets all expectations for quality and price. 100% recommended.
