About Amor Amor L’Eau Flamingo
Amor Amor L'Eau Flamingo Is Cacharel at Its Fizziest
Amor Amor L'Eau Flamingo by Cacharel is an Oriental Floral fragrance for women launched in 2017.
It opens with Coca-Cola, grapefruit and black currant, moves into magnolia, rose and jasmine, and settles on musk, vanilla and amber.
The opening is the hook. The Coca-Cola note brings a sweet, soda-like fizz, brightened by tart grapefruit and the juicy snap of black currant.
The heart turns floral and upbeat. Magnolia feels fresh and creamy, rose adds classic romance, and jasmine lifts the bouquet with clean white-floral light.
The base of musk, vanilla and amber softens everything. It stays smooth and cozy rather than heavy, letting the fruity sparkle and flowers linger.
Overall it reads citrusy, fruity and floral, with cola, vanilla and soft-spicy touches that match its listed accords. The mood is young, playful and easygoing.
Rated 3.73 out of 5 from 92 votes, it stands as a fun detour within the Amor Amor lineup, more cheerful than traditionally romantic.
You will enjoy it if you like fresh, fruity-floral women's perfumes with a quirky cola twist and Cacharel's youthful, romantic spirit.
Bottom line: L'Eau Flamingo is a bright, lighthearted take on Amor Amor, best picked for sweet freshness and soft flowers over a gentle vanilla-amber base.

I’m wearing it this summer and it’s perfect. A scent dominated by the cola soda note and fruity citrus notes like grapefruit. Fresh, soft and with good longevity.
Summer. You’re dying from the heat and you stop at a bar. You sit on the terrace under umbrellas, you sigh, the heat is getting to you. The waiter comes over and you almost beg him for a Coca-Cola, really really ice-cold. He brings you a glass full of ice, lemon slices and a freshly opened glass bottle. You pour a glass, you watch the foam rise and hear the little bubbles. The craving is killing you and you take a sip. Now you feel the tingle in your nose but you smile at that citrusy and sweet blend, you love it. Well, if you identified with the previous situation, this perfume is for you. I tried it in summer, in those situations where you need to cool down and where the chosen perfume is key to achieving it, and this one more than delivers. What I notice most is the touch of grapefruit and of course, Coca-Cola. Unquestionably, with these characteristics its longevity and sillage are moderate, but on the one hand I prefer it that way since each reapplication is a moment of happiness and sweetened freshness. In short, a very casual perfume, a companion for heat and fun.
My first Cacharel flanker. I was surprised that, having been launched so recently, I already found it in a retail store in the southern hemisphere. I didn’t want to resist or wait, even knowing it would be a fragrance designed to be worn in summer. My curiosity to know what this Coca-Cola cocktail made into perfume smelled like was greater. This flanker doesn’t reach the sweet fruity intensity or the strong character of its predecessor, as it has a much softer and lighter sweetness, which can be guessed from its presentation; since while it keeps the bell shape of the classic Amor Amor bottle, it doesn’t have its intense red, but a pink gradient color. Its opening is marked by citrus notes, with a soft fruity sweetness. It’s a different start, I can’t assure that it’s the exact smell of a Coca-Cola, but it’s pleasant and I don’t remember a similar smell in a perfume. Its middle phase is marked by a fresh floral accord of roses and jasmines, but which at times shows a certain reminiscence of the traditional Amor Amor, just like its final phase since it keeps an amber vanilla touch, but much more subtle and keeping the predominance of its floral accord. Another difference is that both its sillage and longevity are lower than the traditional Amor Amor, but if applied on clothes it can be felt from one day to the next. In short, it’s a fruity citrus floral that I will undoubtedly enjoy in summer. Note on the Coca-Cola note: Besides carbonated water, sugars, caffeine, caramel and phosphoric acid, it contains the following natural flavors: lime, lemon, orange, coriander (which has a light orange aroma), neroli (which comes from the distillation of orange blossom), cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla (Taken from a Fragantica article).
Delicious!!!! Long-lasting, elegant, fun ….. The perfect blend of fresh, sweet and citrusy… It’s hard for me to explain… I loved it.
