April 2015: Tried it again today, applying it generously. The trail is moderate, almost weak, but it lasted over ten hours; the last six hours clung to the skin. It’s gorgeous, woody, and aromatic, thanks to that cashmere wood that gives a very soft woody touch.
It starts slowly with bergamot, then builds up with an intense, natural jasmine that reminded me of jasmine tea. After two hours, the tone drops and the woods emerge, very delicate and subtle. It’s still masculine, but so discreet that it doesn’t convince me. Maybe it lasts six hours, but it’s so skin-scented that you barely notice it. It’s a nice perfume; if the base had more punch, it would be one of my favorites. On the other hand, what can you expect for $30 for 100 ml? It’s economical and perfect for reapplication. Low-to-moderate longevity and a weak trail. With that citrus and floral vibe, it feels like a summer scent, but with those soft woods, it also works for a mild autumn or winter. Very discreet, unlikely to catch the younger crowd, but ideal for older folks, the office, or a walk in the park.
