I’ve tried this several times and only detect a few of the advertised notes. For the first 5 seconds, it smells like boozy cherry, then quickly shifts to orange blossom; up to that point, it’s good. Afterward, everything changes: by 20 minutes, it turns woody, the earlier notes vanish, and only Akigalawood and patchouli remain. I didn’t enjoy the dry-down, but if you liked Emerald from this collection, you’ll probably like this one. It’s long-lasting with a subtle sillage. It smells like an older person’s perfume, thanks to the wood that dominates it.
