Have you worn LV Lovers?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. It’s the heir to OPAL ‘Games of Spades’. It’s essentially the same perfume, but while the original barely projects, this one is a marathon runner 😂😂😂. Rich and super versatile scent, perfect for any occasion. Lasts about 3 hours on skin (6 on clothes) with a trail of nearly 3 meters. It’s not tiring, ideal for indoors. WARNING: if you have the money, buy it, but if you’re looking for the absolute best, keep searching for the original Opal.

  2. Smells like Zara’s Shamanila, it’s almost identical. I own both and the comparison is spot on 😂🫩. Plus, it’s a dupe for Jo Milano’s Opal (2020), but this one is from 2024.

LV continues to bet on fresh, simple fragrances in structure but with incredible sensations. It kicks off with a citrus explosion that boosts the vitality of ginger; both accords last quite a while, nothing spectacular but definitely different. The magic happens in the middle and dry down: at 30 minutes, a beautiful, elegant sandalwood takes the lead, leaving a clean, soapy sensation. It declares solar notes, and although I’m not sure exactly what they refer to, I notice something green that gives it a distinct, elegant touch. It lasts a long time until its extended finish, leaving a soapy, vibrant trail that embraces you like a second skin, unbeatable. It makes me feel great. It’s unisex, very versatile, shines in spring and summer, and has nuclear performance, over 8 hours. It leaves a magical trail. Back home, less is more. Awesome.

LV keeps creating fresh, simple fragrances with incredible vibes. Citrus explosion at the start with ginger to add vitality; both accords last quite a while, nothing groundbreaking but with a distinct feeling. The magic happens in the dry down: at 30 minutes, a beautiful, elegant sandalwood appears and takes over, giving a clean, soapy sensation. It declares solar notes, and although I can’t detail them, there’s a green nuance that adds elegance. Lasts a lot until the very end, leaving a magical trail and an unmatched second-skin feeling. Makes me feel great. Unisex, versatile, shines in spring and summer. I’ve worn it for over 8 hours. Awesome.

  5. Where do I even start? It was a workday afternoon, 5 PM, when two women from Kuwait walked into the store. From the moment they crossed the threshold, I was captivated by a scent that left me speechless. I approached curiously and asked what they were wearing. They filled the store with that enchanting smell. With great kindness, they answered: LV LOVERS, the new launch. I was amazed; I’d never heard anything like it. It has a unique essence. Its dry down is creamy, like a soft, velvety sandalwood, with a green and slightly spicy ginger touch. Despite that spicy spark, it maintains incredible delicacy. It’s delicious, unique, and unisex. As a 24-year-old woman, I’m thrilled to make it mine. Perfumes have no gender; if you like it, it’s yours. Just two sprays unleash all its magic. Ideal for cold climates to appreciate its evolution. A definite 10/10. It’s an experience.

Where do I start? At 5 PM on a workday, two girls from Kuwait walked into the store, and I was instantly speechless at their scent. I approached with curiosity and asked what they were wearing; they were filling the shop with something so cool. With genuine kindness, they told me: LV LOVERS, the new launch. I was amazed, I’d never smelled anything like it. It has a special essence and is totally unique. The trail is creamy, like velvet sandalwood with a touch of green and spicy ginger, but without losing that incredible delicacy. It’s delicious, unique, and best of all, unisex. At 24, I love the idea of wearing it on my skin. Perfumes have no gender; if you like it, it’s yours. Two sprays release all its magic. Ideal for cold days where a light breeze lets you appreciate its evolution. A definite 10/10. It’s not just a perfume, it’s an experience.

  7. Somafragance

What can I say about this fragrance? Maybe it reminds you of others because of that prominent sandalwood. It’s not powerful or invasive; it starts with a medium-citrus opening accompanied by woods, then becomes more soapy and clean. As an olfactory experience, I don’t think it’s gratifying or satisfying, to the point of being boring. So, what’s the catch? I see it as spring sunshine: it gives you the joy of smelling something rich and clean without being overwhelming. Projects strongly at first but doesn’t invade after 2 hours. The other catch is that it stays like a second skin. Even people have told me I smell good, but not like perfume, but like ‘me’. I see it for everyday wear, the office, or going out to eat outdoors. On dates, it’s welcoming; sometimes it’s better to smell clean with that creamy sandalwood than a sharp perfume. Remember, not everyone has the same olfactory sensitivity, and this doesn’t bother anyone. Cheers!🫡

  8. Somafragance

What to say about this fragrance… The first thing you notice is sandalwood, but it’s not aggressive or overpowering. It starts with medium citrus notes mixed with woods, then becomes very soapy and clean. As an olfactory experience, I don’t find it particularly rewarding; it can feel a bit boring. But what’s the hook? It reminds me of spring at dawn: that joy of smelling something rich and clean without being imposing. It projects well at first but doesn’t invade after two hours. Its other virtue is that it works like a second skin; people tell me I smell good, but not like perfume, just like myself. Ideal for daily wear, the office, or going out to eat outdoors. On dates, it’s welcoming; sometimes it’s better to smell clean with that creamy sandalwood than a sharp perfume. Not everyone has the same olfactory sensitivity, and this doesn’t bother anyone. Cheers!🫡

Another hit from this house that brings out simple yet refined and pleasant gems. Lovers is a sandalwood fragrance, aromatic and soapy. Smells like clean woods with soap. It’s not that creamy sandalwood I love; it’s quite the opposite: dry with that soapy base that seems extrapolated from Imagination. I’ve loved it, it’s incredibly elegant, fine, and clean. I’m not buying it now because I don’t want to spend, but it deserves it. Edit: after 2 days, the paper where I atomized it fills the bedroom with its scent. Incredible, sandalwood, sandalwood, and more sandalwood. Awesome. I’m starting to need it…

Hi, here’s my little review. Just bought it at the boutique. It’s definitely a masculine fragrance, with a green rather than citrus opening on the side of a fougère, and dries down highlighting the sandalwood and woods. Very clean, fresh, and earthy-green aroma, perfect for summer and casual daily use. It’s not challenging at all, very easy to wear. For performance, I wore it for 4 hours and it’s still noticeable at 60cm. I think if you exceed 6 sprays, it can cause olfactory fatigue; better to reapply after 6h or wear it on clothes. I’d give it a 7/10 overall; for the price, you could find better options with more variety and evolution. Maybe after trying it for more days I’ll correct my judgment. Cheers.
